"I have a KitchenAid stand mixer, and a Cuisinart blender, and wondered if I needed a food processor. With giftcards leftover from our wedding, I decided to buy this. I'm so glad I did! I've used this product for everything from slicing and shredding vegetables, to shredding cheese, to chopping walnuts, to pureeing soups, to blending frozen fruit smoothies, all with fantastic results. I've even used it to puree cottage cheese into a low-fat, smooth, creamy base for a spinach-artichoke dip. I actually don't use my blender now, I feel that the food processor works better for everything I used the blender for."

"I never thought it would be worth the expense to have a food processor. But, this is so easy to use and quick to clean. I use it all the time. I needed practice with chopping onions because they are quick to puree to water but, every thing else that I grate, chop, or slice is perfect. I can't go back to slicing and dicing by hand again."

"I'm a traditionalist. I've put off buying a food processor because I really can cook without fancy machines and gadgets, but I finally broke down and bought this device. I'm glad I did.
The motor is powerful and it makes quick work of grating vegetables, grinding nuts, etc. Making pestos and slaws is a cinch. I haven't tried bread dough yet, but I feel confident it will turn out great. The processor is fun to play with.
Figuring out how to operate the machine is easy. However, I strongly recommend reading the instructions before using it so you know how to remove the processor bowl and understand the safety features. (The machine won't turn on unless you have it assembled right.) Be careful when handing the disks, too, because they are sharp.
The processing bowl is lightweight, making it easy to lift with one hand. Also, when you first use the machine, it is easy to go overboard and pulverize your food, so take time to learn when to stop grinding.
Finally, the processor is easy to clean, which is a big plus. We use the processor often, so it was worth buying."

"I have had this food processor for over 4 years now. It is wonderful; however it broke twice already. The first time, after only a year; Cuisinart did us a big favor and repaired it for no charge. More recently the bowl and stick part of blade broke and to replace them costs $65.00; almost as much as a new machine. Emails to company were not answered in a timely manner and were not helpful at all.
Recommended with reservations."

"I purchased this Cuisinart Food Processor because first of all, Cuisinart has a very good reputation for their products. Second, I needed something powerful for pasta dough mixing because I make a lot of pasta dough, and it gets old having to do it by hand. This appliance does an excellent job, it is powerful, no bogging down, it is ultra quiet. I was done in no time at all. I cant wait to use the slicing and shredding discs too."

"I got this processor about a month ago and i am so happy about it! It works so fast that it takes only a few minutes to have a dinner ready. There is absolutely no mess and it is very easy to clean. It is very compact so it doesn't take a lot of space on the counter top. This processor can shred and chop everything even meat and fish. And what is very important to me is that it works so quiet that i can use it while my baby takes a day time nap without being worried to wake him up. I would definitely recommend it to anybody! This is a must have on every kitchen!"

"I had a 7 cup Classic Cuisinart for a good 25 years. At that time it cost me $99.00. The only reason in getting a new one was my 7 cup was starting to show it's age(discolored) and it was time to reinvest, again, in new blades and bowl. By the time I bought all of this, it was less money to buy this one, plus it was an 11 cup. I love the big bowl. It makes my tasks go a lot faster. With the smaller bowl, I would have to dump out into another bowl, to make room for more of what I was making. The 11 cup is so large that there is only the one time of chopping, slicing, blending or whatever. Watch out, tho...The new blades are very sharp!"

"I got it in sale for a very good price . I am very happy with it . At home we do a lot of cooking ,so now slicing onionor vegetables , kneading dough , grating and chopping is so easy its done in 2 or 3 minutes . I like the large bowl also as I can finish off the job in one go . Also the large feeding tube is helpful .Over all its a very good product."

"Just unpacking this food processor was a treat. Each piece and part was high quality and sturdy, with all-metal slicing and shredding discs, a large bowl, and a variety of feeding chutes. The accompanying DVD was informative regading safety, and the recipe video was quite entertaining with a demonstration by TV cooking show host Hubert Keller. We made pizza dough and crab cakes from the recipes on the DVD, and both worked very well. The dough proved the motor was powerful, and the delicate crab cakes proved it subtle. It's a powerful, well designed piece of equipment that people interested in good cooking at home should be proud to have in their kitchens."

"I purchased this as a bridal shower gift for my sister. I could not believe the deal I got on this, I could not pass it up!!! My sister did want a large sized food processor and I know Cuisinart is a reliable brand. She has already used the processor and absolutely LOVES it! It makes a lot of their food prep so much easier and quicker. Also, it came with a bunch of extra accessories which definitely come in handy. The motor is powerful and she said it is fairly easy to clean. She would not trade it for any other brand and is so happy to have it."

"I use my Cuisinart for everything. I especially like the large opening feature so you don't need to pre-chop food. It saved a ton of time when I made chili from scratch recently. I used it to dice the onions, bell peppers, anheim, jalepeno and habenero peppers. I also used it to make cookies and grate asiago cheese. After watching the DVD, I realized you can get creative with the uses... So much easier than my other food processor!"
