"I have a KitchenAid stand mixer, and a Cuisinart blender, and wondered if I needed a food processor. With giftcards leftover from our wedding, I decided to buy this. I'm so glad I did! I've used this product for everything from slicing and shredding vegetables, to shredding cheese, to chopping walnuts, to pureeing soups, to blending frozen fruit smoothies, all with fantastic results. I've even used it to puree cottage cheese into a low-fat, smooth, creamy base for a spinach-artichoke dip. I actually don't use my blender now, I feel that the food processor works better for everything I used the blender for."

"I purchased this processor for my daughter. Marci cooks for the food give-a-way program of her church in Georgia. She raves about how easy this appliance has made her work. I was thrilled that she liked it and that it made her work easier.
I was glad I chose Cuisinart!! This processor 's capacity
is large enough and works efficently to produce well prepared food.

I was also very grateful for the quick delivery service at the busiest time of Christmas. Macys really delivered!!"

"I searched for approximately two months reading multiple reviews and finally took the plunge. I am so glad that I did. I have never had a processor and it is truly amazing how easy and quickly I can chop, shred, cut, blend etc. I will never be without. This product is above my expectations in regards to quality. The blades are extremely sharp and durable. Very impressive. Absolutely love it"

"Having experience with a Cuisinart Processor in the past, I am extremely satisfied with my new Cuisinart Pro 11-cup Processor. I used the metal blade to make pie crust for Thanksgiving, and it turned out nice and flaky. I love the locking feature on the pusher sleeve, which keeps the pusher from moving. It's amazing how much time I save by slicing and shredding my vegetables with this machine. The only complaint I have, I wish the metal blade would lock in place so it wouldn't fall out when pouring. Overall, this was a great investment."

"I didn't think I would love a food processor as much as I do! I love to prep foods with this. However, I will caution you - watch the DVD it comes with. I really didn't want to, but after struggling with some assembly issues, I popped it in and learned more that I had planned! Good use of time!"

11 cups is misleading

"I bought this item specifically for the large 11 cup pitcher. However, the 'fill line' for liquids is only about 6 cups. I wanted this food processor to make salsa in and anything more than 6 cups of liquid would spill into the area where the blades are. The pitcher may be 11 cups but you cannot fill it with 11 cups of liquid. I returned this item."
