"i got this bedding about five years ago when it first came out. it has held up very well in every way and i still love it and think it's the prettiest bedding around! the fact that it's been a featured bedding collection for so many years is surely a testament to its superiority! if you're considering buying this set, i recommend that you do. you won't regret it!"

Beautiful, but Delicate,

"I absolutely loved this bedding collection when I saw it. It was beautiful and feminine without being overly floral. However, if I had actually seen the collection at the store rather than on-line I may not have purchased. When I received I was a little leery of the fabric. A year later, I have noticed little snags and tears in the upper fabric. Very disappointing. Plus, I am not fond of the Dry Clean Only. I also had a little problem with the shipping in the shams. I received one standard shame and one standard extended shame. There was a noticeable difference in the sizes. Thus, this cost me more in shipping to purchase a third shame and then keep the two that were the same size and return the unwanted version. Stick to purchasing in the store!"

"I loved this set as soon as I saw it. I bought the enire set 2 years ago. I love it as much as I did when I bought it but it did not hold up as good as it should have. The duvet cover is very very thin and has stretched out so much over the 2 years that it doesnt even fit the down comforter anymore. I am so dissapointed, for that type of money this set should have lasted a long time."

Duvet rips and changes colors,

"I think this set is beautiful but it costs well over $1000 to complete it and like the others have said the duvet is paper thin and mine just ripped. I have also seen the faded pink spots and I thought it was something I did, now I know that is not the case. I am searching for new bedding because I refuse to pay $300 for another tissue-thin duvet cover that will only produce the same issues as the first. I am very very dissapointed in this DKNY product and I will not be searching her line to find another."

Loved but SO disappointed!,

"I registered for this bedding collection after debating over several different designer bedding sets for some time. I received the entire set for my bridal shower and began using it after my 2005 wedding. Within about 2 months, small pink spots began to appear all over the duvet cover. At first I thought I had gotten some sort of peroxide or bleach product on it, but then realized that anywhere that something wet had hit: we hands, wet towel, etc. even for a SECOND discolored the duvet. The same thing started to happen on the pillow shams, which BTW were never the same green as the duvet color from day 1. At first I tried covering the spots up with more throw pillows and a throw blanket, but now they are everywhere. The striped sheets faded with washing; after 2.5 years they do not look anything like their original coloring. I am SO disappointed with this bedding collection, and have not washed or had it cleaned only because I am afraid it will come back tie-dyed! I gave it 3/5 stars because it looks beautiful on display but it is such poor quality. I guess I will try to return it to DKNY!"

Doesn't hold up over time,

"I was happy with the look of this set when I got it and got many compliments. However, I have to agree with those who have commented on the paper thin quality of the duvet cover. I have had the set for a bit over a year and it has faded significantly in numerous spots and has discolorations all over the duvet even though I have taken great care to maintain it. It is not worth the money at all! I'm going to have to replace it completely."

"I have had this now for a little over 3 years and I am very disappointed. I spent a ton of money and it hasn't held up for anything. I take very good care of my things but the fabric is very thin and you can see it has faded in some areas. I am already looking for a new set. DON"T WASTE YOUR $$$$"

How disappointing!,

"I ordered pretty much one of everything of this collection from macy's online and received part of my order today (with two more shipments coming). The picked stitch decorative pillow looks NOTHING like the picture online. I thought it was the stuffing and was looking for a material casing when I realized that was it. It looks horrible - like it is made of papery fabric lining instead of material. I will be returning it. The pillowcase and fitted sheet in celedon were surprising because online they look lighter colored and they are actually more of a khaki color. No thread count is stated for the sheets and I just ran my fingers over them (don't want to open because I will probably return them) and I don't believe they are the greatest quality. The bedskirt looks OK and the color looks the same as online. I am still waiting for shams, a squash colored decorative pillow and a duvet (in earth green). Will report back at that time."

"I have had this set for a few months and receive many compliments on the looks. It is very rich looking, yet casual. The versatility for temperatures is wonderful with the picked stitch quilt being a very nice weight for moderate weather. Although the main color in the set is a green, there are many accent colors to help match tastes from pastels to stronger, bolder colors."

"I really liked this duvet cover and had been eyeing it for a while. I finally decided to buy it and as I still love the look of it I was very disappointed when I noticed that after two weeks the duvet cover had started to get spotty yellow spots. I bought some pillow covers also and those haven't been discolored in any way. To spend that much money on something that was discolored in 2 weeks was very disappointing."

Duvet Cover,

"I bought the duvet cover a year and 1/2 ago. The duvet was only and 5 mths old and I noticted that a button pooped off the bottom. Then a couple days later I noticed that another button came off. with in the first 5 mths that I had this duvet all the buttons expect for 3 came off! I am not happy with this product at all. I regirested for this knowing that it was well kmow name and good quality and I figured that it would last me. Well I was def wrong I am left with 3 button on my cover. I def would not recommend this to anybody."
