First speed is waaaayyy too fast

"I've only used this blender once, and I am not sure I want to try it again. I'm not fussy about how to mix and blend food, but I do expect a slow speed to be slow. This one took off blowing powdered sugar and cinnamon out of the bowl. It only slowed down when the ingredients got mixed thickly enough. Then, it seemed to be struggling. I looked at all kinds of mixers and read the reviews. I thought this was going to be the best choice, because I don't need a mixer with over 3 speeds, but I'm really disappointed."

"After buying the RED Cuisinart toaster, I had to have the PURPLE mixer., When friends walk into my kitchen they immediately say "there is no drab appliance on your counter"..makes you want to actually make a cake....It is quiet, the power is just right, I have some hand problems,, but the mixer is just the right weight to hold.....Does a great job,,no matter what you are preparing,,buy, and then you can share your great experience about the mixer...Would love to buy one in every color,,probably will ...."

"After "thinking about" buying it for a long time, made the purchase. I have a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and thought buying this hand mixer was "wasteful." Very happy with my decision since it's so quick and easy to use and not the effort of using the larger one, which is wonderful when baking lots of items.
