"This bag is much bigger than I expected and it's definitely spacious (this bag can hold a couple of books, a small umbrella, and other accessories and cosmetics). Stylish certainly is appropriate for this tote bag: the zippers on the two side, external pockets and on the front,exterior of the bag are an excellent touch! This bag definitely has versatility; the double short straps allow for it to be carried by hand and the longer, single shoulder strap enables it to be worn on the shoulder (it's also detachable). The rust color coordinates well with jeans or other fabrics. In addition, this bag has one interior pocket with a zipper which is ideal for keeping small personal items. This will be an "everyday" bag for me."

Pictures ARE deceiving.

"The zippers are not the nice, dark brass gold-like color as it is shown in the pictures - they are in actuality, the standard light silver zippers, which was disappointing. What I don't understand is why the two zippers in the front open up but they are stitched into the material so pretty much, the only purpose they serve is for decoration and they're not very aesthetic decorations considering that the zippers are the STANDARD UGLY SILVER ONES.

I don't like how the side pouches are so wide because it makes me feel insecure about leaving anything in those pouches other than bottles because objects might fall out of them when I'm carrying the bag. I also dislike how clunky the bag feels on its own without anything placed in them. It surprisingly weighs pretty heavy despite its appearance. I used it for one week for school and all I carry in it really is a folder and an agenda and just those two items in the bag makes me feel like I'm lugging the bag around because it's so heavy. Compared to my Jansport backpack, the heaviness of this feels more of an inconvenience, which was not what I wanted when I decided to purchase this bag.

Although it is a really pretty brown color and I love the adjustable straps and the fact that the straps don't slide off my shoulders when I'm carrying it, I didn't love this bag for the above reasons.

Needless to say, I am definitely refunding it."

Not What The Picture Shows

"I read in a review that the black version of this bag did not come with gold zippers, however, this is also true for the rust colored version. I was disappointed to open my package and not find what I expected. Be advised that if you do not like silver zippers and the antique gold is what you prefer, do not buy either style of this bag and expect to receive what the picture portrays. Otherwise, this bag is exactly what I needed. It would be nice, however, if the picture would match the product that is sent upon purchase."

"I got the brown one a few months back and it still holds-up very well. Lot of pockets and the bag can fit in lot of stuff too. A laptop also fits in(13" size and below, NOT the MACbooks but a regular PC also fits in). Has two levels of straps: the longer one is detachable."

"When I buy a handbag, I insist that it have 2 substantial outside pockets, one for cell phone and one for keys. It must fit comfortably on my shoulder, close securely, have enough room for wallet, sunglasses, small hairbrush, and make-up case. And the bag itself it must be lightweight and soft, not hard like a wooden box.
This brown one meets all these criteria. I hope the strap is sturdy enough; I do not over-fill my handbags, but they do weigh more with stuff in them, and this strap seems sort of delicate. But who knows -- if it lasts a year, I'll be very happy. I'll be bored with it by then anyway!"

"The bag is a good bag, but the picture online is deceiving. As another reviewer noted, the black bag in actuality does not have the antique gold zippers that are pictured here. They are silver. Unfortunately I don't think the bag looks as nice with silver zippers, and wish that the picture had been more helpful!"

Not what i was expecting

"I bought the bag in black which i was totally excited for but turned out it's not exactly what i was hoping to see. In the picture, the black one has gold detailing which is one of the reasons why i chose to buy this bag, however, the bag that i received has no gold detailing which means the zippers and everything are in silver instead of gold which i totally dislike since black looks the best with gold, classy as well. Other than that, the bag is okay. I'm just really disappointed that it's not what i was expecting.."

"I'm not really used to buying online and I was worried about the material. But the bag is perfect! The material does not look cheap and the size is what i normally buy - big.

"This bag is absolutely GORGEOUS. I got it in marigold and I get a lot of compliments on it.

The only downside to the bag is that it smells very strongly of cigarettes. I don't smoke and I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so having the bag around me makes my allergies act up. The only thing I can do is spray it with some lavender vanilla febreeze to be able to tolerate the smell."

"I love this bag. It's roomy, but has enough side pockets to make it easy to find essentials. I really appreciate the versatility between going from a shoulder bag to a cross-body bag. My only warning would be, "don't overload." The cross-body strap is pretty thin and if the bag is heavy it can be painful to carry for extended periods of time. I'm very happy to use this as an everyday bag."

"I have this bag now in 3 colors and I'm considering the green and the brown. It is my go-to bag and I LOVE it!!! It holds everything yet it's light weight. I can throw it crossbody when I need to yet it's chic using the satchel handles or carrying it shoulder style. It is my perfect day to day work bag. I am so glad I tried it. If I could give it 6 stars I would. It is a very large bag so if you don't like big then this one isnt for you. I'm 5ft and this bag still works for me and doesn't look like I'm playing dress up. Get it while you can ladies because I will be going back for 2 more colors....:-)"

"I get many compliments about this bag, and the plus is that it wasn't too expensive. I love crossbody bags because I'm not too fond of holding a bag on my shoulder all throughout the day. This is a good bag for me to carry around during school or any other day, I love how roomy it is and the extra pockets are good for carrying water bottles. If you don't like extra roomy bags I wouldn't suggest it, but its ideal if you have alot of stuff that you put inside your purse."
