Beautiful Dress, most should go up a size

"I am usually a size 4 in most brands, 120 lbs and 5'5. After stopping breastfeeding for now my third time in the last 4 years, my cleavage is definitely smaller than it was before my babies. With that said, I ordered a size 4 because a 6 was unavailable. I would normally get a 6 in a fancy dress because they tend to go the same sizing as bridal gowns. I went with the 4 anyway. I just got it today and I was worried about it being too tight, but I can get it on, and zipped with no problem, but if my cleavage were any bigger, and I mean by even a tiny bit, I would have to go up a size and tailor the bottom part to that of the size 4. I don't even think I can wear the dress with a bra. My recommendation is to go up a size if you have any cleavage at all. I currently wear a 34C but I can't say that I fill out my bras anymore. The size 4 dress is pretty much painted on me at the top with no spare room. I can pull it off since the rest of the dress fits perfect, but I'll just say that I am a petite person, so if you are not ballerina thin, I don't know how the dress will fit for you without going up a size. It's a beautiful dress though, so if you can get the right size, you will look amazing!"

"I bought this dress in a purple color. Really loved the dress when I got it, but it has a strange cut. The hips fit perfect but the bust was too small. I had to return it as a result. I recommend going a size up to fit your bust better."

"I am 5"10" and wanted something classy to wear to a wedding that was knee length and more than just a "black dress." The ruffle on the sleeve and the one-shoulder are an elegant addition to a relatively plain dress. The material seems very stretchy and doesn't seem to wrinkle easily, so that is a definite plus when going from the table to dancing and back . Switching jewelry on this could make this dress very flexible for any ocassion! LOVE IT!"

"I bought this dress for a semi formal military function and it was perfect! I'm a size 2/ 34A and it fit like a glove in the body and chest. I feel the dress was true to size.. The dress I purchased was a different shade of purple than this picture. The tag said Grape Juice and it was more of a plum. The color was beautiful!! The soft satin material made it formal without the stuffiness. I also loved that it had a liner and I did not need to wear any smoothing undergarments. The length hit right at the knee. Unlike some of the other reviews, I loved the rosette on the shoulder! I'm petite and I didn't feel it was too large. I am very pleased with the purchase of this dress!"

"The dress is stunning. I purchased it in black for a holiday Christmas party and the detailed shoulder was just enough to turn it from little black dress to party dress. It definatley fits like a glove, but the lining makes the dress drape over you and not show every little sin. I am a size 6 and 34B and the 6 fit me well, even in the chest. Highly recommend!!!!"

"I am so glad I read each review and did order a size larger. I usually wear a 12 in the top and alter to a 10 from the waist down. This is the first time a 12 has been so snug at the bodice AND all the way down. The diagonal seaming in the front is attractive though not very apparent in the photo. I am wearing it as mother of the bride!
Too, I ordered it Sunday night and received it Thursday morning. Thanks for great service, Macy's!"

"Let me start by saying that I am a small-busted (34B) size 4. But this dress was seriously tight in the chest, even though the 4 completely fit me otherwise. So it's kind of a weird cut. The material is pretty, but the rose appliques do kind of seem a bit much in person - my husband's comment was that it looks like a prom dress (which might be a good thing if that's what you're going for. I wasn't). I'll be taking this back."
