"There is no question that this is an excellent mixer, design aesthetics and quality are still unmatched in the market. I gave it 4 stars because Kitchen Aid has not come up yet with a perfect solution for the splattering problem which happens if you increase motor speed for liquid-ish batter mixtures like a banana bread recipe. The separate plastic pour shield did not help."

"I purchased this Kitchen Aid Mixer fopr my 31 year old son who is beginning to enjoy cooking and he specifically requested this model because of all the research he had done plus he knew if it came from Macy's, it had to be top knotch quality. "This has been one of the best experiences of my life. It is like a dream every time you use it and your cakes come out so much better. Thank you Kitchen Aide for making such a wonderful mixer.I like the way the beater mixes the batter and also you never have to stop what you doing to put something in the bowl with this mixer you can continue on and keep on putting your butter, flour etc. Just wonderful made my life so much easier."

"I received this as a wedding gift. I absoluty love it. I've wanted one for the past 10 plus years. The Candy Apple Red color is awesome and I love the glass bowl. (Very sylish). "I did a lot of research before deciding to go with this model (KSM155). If you're thinking about getting a Kitchenaid mixer, and have found yourself contemplating, "bowl-lift" "tilt head" "glass or metal bowl"? and, among other features, then let me help you make your decision! This model is made of all metal construction, meaning it will last longer! Where some of the other models have nylon gears. However, don't take my word for it, call their customer service and find out for yourself.

I absolutely love my Candy Apple Red stand mixer, I have made multiple batches of cookies, made dough for Indian cha-patis (tortilla), cake batters and, I am looking forward to making whole wheat breads. Also clean up is a breeze.

Note: with the dough hook the machine must only be used on speed number "2" and you should only run the machine continuously for 5 minutes max (regardless of the attachment you are using ), however, it will do the job well under 5 mins. because it's pretty powerful. Anyway it's all in the manual."

"I LOVE MY RASPBERRY ICE MIXER! These are beautiful colors, and the glass bowl is so wonderful, that I have them for my other Artisan KSM150 mixers.

This is the best mixer out there. My meringues and whipping creams come out great. I'm hoping that Kitchenaid will come out with a purple jewel tone color for this mixer to add to my collection."

"I love the product the glass bowl, i feel work bretter then the standard bowl it come with on other models. I have had both models and out of all of them the glass bowl work best. I love this mixer so much that I have already got all the other parts needed to make pasta, meat, and juice etc. this is the model to get it is love as frist site great in any setting with it candy apple shine look and that glass bowl that makes it pop"
