"I cannot imagine anyone saying anything but "beautiful" about this dress! I was stressing so much about the fit and it showing the bit of tummy I have now that I'm 60 years old (and the larger thighs than ever before). The dress hides anything you need hidden, tummy, thighs, etc. I love it so much. The shipping was very fast so I got it in plenty of time for a family wedding! The way it flows makes you feel like a princess...even at my age! If you want to look like you have a perfect figure and don't...this is the dress for you!! As the kids say "it is awesome" lol...do yourself a favor, buy this dress!!!!!!!!!"

"The jacket was beautiful but the dress was awful. The darts were underneath my arms and to the back. Someone went crazy with scissors and there were cut marks in the front and back.Cheap material."

"I just returned from a wedding reception, and I felt elegant and comfortable in this dress (navy). After a shaky start - the first dress arrived with beading for the red dress, and the navy one arrived yesterday by express mail with the lovely blue beading - I was impressed with the fit and feel, but most of all, how I felt in it. For those wondering about size, etc., I'm 73, 5'4" and 150 lbs and the size 12 fit every positive feature while hiding the negatives. While dancing, the lower part of the dress flares out beautifully. On my frame, it is almost ankle length, but that's fine. I cannot say enough about the positives of this dress!"

"saw this on-line but they don't have my size. Went to 3 Macy's store finally found it on the 3rd one. Found the only 6P in navy. It is a perfect evening dress for the mother of the groom. It is perfect even the bust size. The length went down to the ankle, which is even better. It appears like a long gown because I am 5'4" . Very flattering style as other reviewers have said. Wanted an eggplant color but bought this one anyway. The price was a steal with the sale and coupon. If it comes in silver color. I would probably buy it too for my other son's wedding."

"I purchased this dress for my daughter's April 6th wedding in Florida. I wasn't sure how warm it would be either outside or in the reception room, but this dress was perfect! Not too warm but just enough for a/c. I received so many compliments on this dress. It is stunning! I got the navy and I am considering getting the plum and putting it away for my son's wedding next year. Perfect for a 50+ mother of the bride or groom. Very flattering and forgiving for someone who has a few pounds to hide."

"Ordered this dress for a wedding and was a bit reluctant to do so because I do not typically order clothing online. But, this little dress was so pretty and most of the reviews were very favorable. Placed the order Thursday and received my dress Monday. Tried it on right away and it is gorgeous! Exceeded my expectations. It is very elegant looking and is clearly well made. Another bonus...it is machine washable on a very gentle cycle. I would not chance putting it in the machine though..plan to handwash. The fit is perfect. I have gained weight and ordered a 12P, again with the thought that I could return it to my local Macy's in case it ran too small. Looks good, feels good. Love this dress!"

"I purchased this dress to wear to my son's wedding (eggplant) I'm in some process that not every garment fits (gained 10lb this may have something to do, LOL) anyway. I ordered it size 14 and it fit great. I must say this dress was exactly what I was looking for it kind'a hides the tummy and having the jacket even better. The Jacket is see through however, it has the beautiful beads on all the right places and so is the dress from the top of the dress to the bottom is filled with beads (they are eggplant color w a little shine to them). The hem is what makes this dress so unique it flows, I can imagine how I will look like dancing the mother/son dance. Every turn the dress will just turn heads because of the difference in the panels (just at the bottom I also like to tell you the dress has its own "slip" kinda holds you and the dress just slides over your shoulders. I usually wear L I'm 5'4 168 lb is this helps anyone. At my height the dress comes down to my ankle which is great I look like I'm wearing a gown and a million buck ...did anyone said Mother of The Groom? However, now I'm told that the colors for the wedding should be spring colors, pastels and the like. So I just order another one too bad could not find a R&M summery dress. I like this companies' line because I think they caters to real women and not sticks. I would highly recommend this dress the picture does not do it justice, you will surprise PS the dress has straps, not thin it will cover your bra straps. I wish I could have found it in bright colors Royal Blue? I would definitely buy other dresses from R&M. This dress looks and feels very expensive. How about R&M more dresses w/ jackets for this summer? for these real women that can't wear spandex or sweater dresses? LOL Thank."

"I was searching for the *perfect* dress to wear to my daughter's wedding coming up this June - something forgiving of the areas I least like to show, etc. This dress is IT!! Not only is it very flattering to my figure, it is absolutely gorgeous! And most important - it's comfortable to wear. Nothing too clingy and/or constricting. It arrived less than a week after ordering, came "rolled" in such a way that there wasn't a single wrinkle. I love the quality of the workmanship and can't get over my good luck at finding this dress. The best part - it didn't need any alterations (fit perfectly) AND I can wear it again and again, to office functions, etc. I bought it in the navy, simply because that looked better on me than the eggplant, although I originally intended on getting the eggplant... the navy looks even better in person than the pics show. Definitely a 5-star purchase!!"

"The dress was great except it was supposed to be "just below the knee." I'm 5 ft 6 in. and it went to my ankles. When I returned it, the sales clerks couldn't believe it was so long.

I don't know if it was just a fluke or what, but I'm back to dress hunting.

"I don't usually have the best luck with clothes fitting me when ordering online. I'd read the reviews about this dress and hoped I'd be as lucky as the other women who'd ordered this dress but was doubtful.

I am SO happy with the fit of this dress. I ordered the dress in Eggplant and it is absolutely beautiful! The size seems very accurate and the A-line style is very flattering on me as I have a curvy body. The jacket is also complimentary. Even though the sleeves are sheer it covers the arms and length of the jacket camouflages the waistline and backside.

I ordered this dress to wear to my son's wedding as my Mother of the Groom dress. I seem to be in good company with a lot of other women who ordered the same dress. I totally agree with them, it's so flattering for us women who are in our 50's-60's but I think it would look great on women of any age and body style."
