"I really love this dress, however, I will have to return it due to the color. The color is a dull lavender. I am the groom's mother and was just told that they want us to wear a cream color dress/outfit. I need to look for something for the wedding. I will be purchasing the black one later, I love the fit and the swing. It hides all the flaws."

"This is a stunning black dress! The layers flow beautifully next to your body so elegantly and does not reveal bulges if you have any. Great for an after 5 party, a wedding, etc. I am so glad that I bought this dress. An excellent choice and looks even better in person."

"I never buy online and especially clothes because I hate returning. Since my son is getting married i had to find a dress. My daughter and I decided this was beautiful but had no idea it would fit perfectly. It is so hard to find a dress that isn't too matronly and too short for my age. I LOVE everything about this dress. Will be cool in June also."

"I bought the dress to wear to my son's wedding. I am not one to wear dresses very often and it has to be a very special occasion and surprisingly I felt comfortable. The dress fit wonderful and was very slimming as well as it hides weight flaws"

"I have never ordered clothes online before but after reading so many positive reviews; and due to Macy's great return policy, I thought I'd give it a try. This dress is amazing! I'm using it as my little black cocktail dress for an upcoming vacation. I'm going to pair it with some sexy fuschia pumps that I just purchased for a pop of color! This dress is so flattering and comfortable to wear. Perfect length for my 5'6" frame and also hides any body imperfections. Ladies, try this dress! You won't be disappointed!"

"this dress fits beautiful, i am attending a wedding on february and i bought 5 different dresses. they all fit horrible because of my shape. when i got this dress in purple OMG its beautiful and its true to size fits so nice. i fell in love with it so i bought the black one right away. i never give reiviews but had to give a review for this dress. if you are thinking of buying it dont hesitate you will not regret it."

"I was looking for a new cute dress to wear for some parties. The description on this one sounded good and it looked so cute! Unfortunately, it hit me all wrong. I'm short, so I knew it would run long but it just hit me all wrong. It certainly did not hide anything and the split sleeves were not the correct style for these 46 year old arms. It's going back immediately."

"I loved the look of this dress on line and wanted to order it but with my body shape I hate to order and return for another size. I went to Macy's and tried it on and it looks great. I love the way it hangs and feels. It really does hide some body flaws. You will not be dissapointed with this dress."

"I am an apple shape and got this dress in a plus size. Some reviewers indicated it ran a little large, so I ordered two sizes. I'm happy to say the smaller of the two fit best.

It does an absolutely incredible job of hiding "lumpy parts." I'd definitely recommend this to other apples :)"

"As true to the other reviews, this dress did not disappoint! It fit perfectly, the way it lays is beautiful! It is perfect for any night time occasion. Just enough sleeve to cover tops of arms, but light enough to keep you cool on hotter summer nights. You can change the look with different jewelry - Perfect!"

"With all the great views, I went to Macy's and tried on this dress. It was the most horrible dress ever. It was frumpy and unattractive. Don't kid yourselves ladies - it does NOT hide anything. It acentuates the bad features."

"This dress is amazingly flattering. I have an odd body to dress -- large bust, and I have scoliosis that has my back and hips sort of out of alignment. I needed a dress for an outdoor wedding in July. I wanted something comfortable and attractive. This dress really is perfect. (Reading other reviews, it seems to be perfect for lots of women!) I did remove the little rhinestone pin, and will either substitute it with a beautiful pin I own, or perhaps a silk flower. I am sure I will get lots of use out of this for years - the style seems timeless!"

"This dress is great looking on, but I wish it was tea length or longer to cover my knees. I am 5' 8" and it comes above my knees. Wish it came in other colors. I am Mother-of- the Groom for a July wedding and black just won't do. I did find it in Lilac, (but would have loved it in green). I bought two dresses and am cutting off the last three rows of layers of one and sewing them to bottom of other to make an ankle length dress. I won't have to wear nylons and legs will be covered. Very flattering. Cost worth it to find dress that is modest, has sleeve to cover upper arms and silhouettes nicely."
