"My daughter is an artist and painted her room a beautiful blue and the ceiling a sky blue. She chose this set for her room and it is beautiful. The other reviewer could have repainted the room. Beautifully made and the feel is wonderful. It is our two cat's chosen spot in all of the house."

These colors die in natural light

"I was looking for something vibrant for my bedroom and was so excited when I found this set. It came really quickly and I could hardly wait to see it on my bed.

Unfortunately in my room the colors completely washed out. The brilliant reds and pinks in the quilt looked drab and the background color turned a muddy brown. On the website it looked closer to burgundy.

Two interesting things. Before I brought the set back, I printed the photo from the website so I could show the store how different the colors were. To my great surprise, the print showed the same drab colors. When I walked into Macy's the next day, however, and got the quilt under fluorescent lights, all the vibrant colors reappeared. Since I hadn’t brought the photo, they had to take my word for the difference.

The set is probably nicely made. I was just so disappointed in the colors, that I never even opened the shams or pillows."
