"Received my first cashmere sweater as a birthday gift. Comfortable and beautiful, easy to wear dressed up or casual. Love the V-neck style, too, as can add a necklace or scarf, as called for. Gifter made me feel extra special to have received cashmere, so this year I am treating myself (at the sales price, no less!) so I can enjoy feeling special in lots of colors, as this is a terrific piece that completes and/or makes any outfit.

"I love the Macy's cashmere sweaters and own several in various styles. But most of the colors that are new this year are not available in stores, so you have to rely on the website. Unfortunately, the colors aren't even close to what you see on the website, particularly the Heather Cerise and Crystalline. They are much, much darker in person. I already own cashmere sweaters in the colors that arrived in the mail, so I will be returning both. Very disappointing. I would only recommend this product to a friend if they could see the colors in person first."

"A classic style in a wonderful fabric and a pretty color. I've tried other similar styles at different retailers, but had never bought them because there was always something that just wasn't quite right about them...usually the fit, especially around the waist (my hips are slim). Not this time! This one fits comfortably without being too tight in the sleeves or bust, nor is it too loosely fitting at the waist. It looks great with a black knee length skirt and feels beautiful - it will certainly become a staple item in my wardrobe."

"Colors are really very nice. Sizing is as follows: these run quite large in the body; and, the sleeves are very, very short. Also, both crewneck style cashmere sweaters had holes in the left underarm at or by the sleeve to body seaming. So, all styles (v-neck, crewneck and turtleneck) ran very large in body, ie, waist to top of the hip. All styles also ran short in the sleeves. There was irregularity in sizing, including some sleeve length and shoulder width, in each of the sweather styles. (I'd purchased size Small, although I noticed that didn't matter when I'd compared to her sizes in the store.) They are a two-ply sweater. Nice and soft. Decent on one hand for the pricing if it fits your particular body type. I purchased five of the v-neck, three turtleneck, and two crewnecks online before Christmas. I had to return all of them. Really wanted the styles and colors and weight, but they just didn't fit. The area Macy's store processed my online purchase return of them at the sweater cashier area very quickly and easily; however, the two damaged ones I noticed were put on the sales floor for sale. I'd kept one even though it didn't fit well, as I just needed a turtleneck for our upstate NY Winter weather. It pilled significantly on the second wear though. Combed them all out, but is just isn't as long-lasting or good a knit of cashmere as some others out there. Too bad. I would ask if Macy's would please get XS in still, and definitely for next year. And, please add some sleeve length too."

"I had my doubts about purchasing a "charter club" cashmere sweater. Not that they don't have quality clothing, but I thought, hmmm cashmere needs to be a "brand name" purchase, well I was wrong! This IS a quality product! It's so soft and cuddly! I love it. In fact sometimes I just put it on at home and wear it around the house it's so darn comfortable! I would buy it now if I were you because at this price you just cannot go wrong."

"I love this sweater. It's a nice lightweight cashmere that is incredibly soft. It says to dry clean it, but I handwashed it in Woolite and hung it on a drying rack and it was fine."

"I feel bad posting this reveiw after reading all the others. I bought this sweater in "mink" for Thanksgiving. I wore the sweater all day, by the end of the day it was pilled all over! I own many cashmere sweaters and have never seen pilling on any of them (I even wash them in the washer) I used to buy the store brand cashmere at Stawbridge's never expected much, same price as these, however they were softer and I am still wearing them after 7 years. I would have to say the quality of this sweater is poor, don't waste your money. I'll attribute the one star to the wonderful color selection. I returned the sweater."
