"My husband and I registered for this set after seeing it at our local Macy's. We had narrowed it down to 2 other choices, and when we saw this, we both loved this pattern. It's got a beautiful banded pattern, and the accent plates are actually also still simple and beautiful. The embellishment in the band itself is a very elegant pattern. I love that the detail is subtle, yet gives the set a bit more of a "fancy" feeling. I am looking forward to our first dinner party with this set!
Although I'm pretty sure I won't want to, this china is dishwasher safe, another plus if you have a husband who isn't too fond of doing the dishes!"

"I absolutely love my china. I fell in love with it at first site! I paired it with The Lenox Firelight Platinum stemware and the Waterford Carina Matte flatware. The sales associates at Macy's set up a place setting with a placemat and all the items so I could see what they looked like together. The service was great and it made it so much easier to choose which pieces would coordinate. I love my china and crystal and my family and friends thought my pattern was beautiful as well. It also looks stunning if you pair it with a charger plate from the Crestwood Cobalt set. Also, FYI there is a competing stores that carries additional serving pieces and have a beautiful square charger plate that goes with the set."

"When my fiance and I went to register for china I told him "we shouldn't go over $120 for a place setting, because that price point would be too high for our guests". We found a few patterns, including this one which my fiance found and was immediately drawn to. We constructed a place setting in the Macy's store with silverware, stemware and a napkin and this pattern was the clear winner for its subtle flare. It looks really great with the accent plate, too. You can imagine my surprise when I finally looked at the price! Not only was it reasonable, but one could buy two place settings for the same price as other patterns. We've been married 4 months and my (now) husband always likes telling people he found our china pattern. Not only did we receive all 16 place settings on our registry (some friends of ours only got a handful of their $150+ patterns), but we have already enjoyed using them at Christmas and New Year's, and look forward to using them quite frequently in the years to come."

"My husband and I are newly married and registered for a more expensive, similar pattern. Sadly, we received only 1 place setting of our $140/setting china so we decided to return it. When we went to return the item, we found this gorgeous pattern and instantly fell in love. It looks VERY similar to the expensive Waterford one we had registered, and we were able to put the $140 from the place setting towards this 50 pc set. We found it on sale too.. We're VERY happy with this set. It's beautiful and we can't wait to use it!"

"I highly recommend this set. It is beautiful and elegant. This pattern by Noritake is very durable, as another reviewer has also stated, and my husband and I use it for all our meals and as our only dinnerware. It looks absolutely beautiful with our new Reed & Barton Silverware and our Waterford Crystal.
So good ahead and use Crestwood Platinum everyday. You will not hurt it. I do not believe in placing China in a cabinet to look at and only using it for "special guests". In today's world, we all should treat our family as special and not just the guests who come into our homes.

"After agonizing over the perfect china to grace our table and the tables of those to whom it's passed down, we kept coming back to Noritake's Crestwood Platinum. It was a starker white than I thought that I wanted, but, now that it's sitting in our china cabinet, I know that it was the perfect choice. A number of our friends were married not long before us, and they kept warning us that we'd get only 3 place settings worth of china, but when we got the entire set of Noritake, I was excited that everyone was so excited about our wedding china selection, too!"

"I registered for this for my wedding and have been finishing adding to my collection for the past 3 years. We now have a beautiful set that is often complimented on by others. "I highly recommend this set. It is timeless and elegant. You may not realize this, but it is extremely durable, more so than ceramic. Go ahead and bump it and it will not cause alarm. I use it as my only dinner ware. Don't save the "good china" for special occasions or guests. Me and my family are the "good guests". Is anyone really more deserving than your own family? Impress your loved ones, not the people you see once a year. If you don't use it, why have it? This set makes even a bowl of cereal seem special. Love it."
