"We purchased this dinnerware set in 2004. The overall quality of the set is extradinary. The china has very vivid colors and is extremey detailed throughout. The durability of this product is truely amazing! In fact, this dinnerware survived Hurricane Katrina when my home did not. When we arrived home after the storm, our china cabinet was tipped over and broken on the floor. My wife dug this chinaware out from under one foot of mud. The chinaware was then cleaned and apeared just the way it did, when we originally purchased it. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in holiday dinnerware to consider this series by Lennox."

"I've resisted purchasing holiday china for 30+ years because it was either too red/green, kitchy or everyone else had the same pattern. Then, I disovered "Winter Greetings" by Lenox. The formal dining room at my farmhouse in Georgia has rich, deep blue overtones and is accented with Audubon and Menaboni prints. "Winter Greetings" is the perfect foil - I'd planned on filling out the pattern over several years but once I saw how wonderfully it enriched the entire room, I bought 12 place settings plus numerous serving pieces."

"Lenox Winter Greetings china is absolutely gorgeous! Normally, I don’t buy such pieces on line without looking at them, but our local Macy’s did not have this particular set, while I did not like others. This china turned out to be exceptional, luxurious and very classy. One of those cases, when you’d say - it is “even more beautiful in person”. The pattern is very cheerful, yet, not overly busy. The colors are vibrant. The golden rim gives more elegance to the plates. We just got one more reason to look forward to every holiday season!"

"The "Winter Greetings" china pattern has been my favorite winter pattern since the very first time I saw it at Marshall Fields or perhaps it was Hudson's....I think that would be in the early 1990's. The pattern appears to me to be so restful..the details, the birds, the ribbons, the greenery seems to just float on the china. I have chosen to only purchased or received as gifts the lovely serving pieces. The reason, I enjoy using the JL Hudson china that we received for our wedding 45+ years ago on these special occasions and the "Winter Greetings" looks so beautiful with our china and adds much to the beauty of the season ."

"I am thrilled with my Winter Greetings china because I love the vivid colors and also because I am a bird fancier. I especially enjoy watching cardinals and black capped chickadees as they feed outside my kitchen window at two feeders. Imagine how elated I was when my daughter started the collection for me at Christmas 2006. Of course I came to realize later that she had an ulterior motive, she loves the pattern also. She reminds me frequently that they are not only a wonderful heirloom, but also a great investment. The dishes look fabulous in my dining room with red walls. I am working toward collecting 16 place settings. MACY'S REALLY HELPS THE CAUSE with their wonderful sales."

"I have owned my winter greetings set for 2 years and I am thrilled with it. People cannot believe it goes through the dishwasher without fading or damage. We use it as everyday dinnerware through the holiday period and into early spring and love it. At first I was skeptical about owning holiday dishes but they really do make for a festive table. It is easy to add to the original set. For the brave it is possible to mix the settings as well. I would highly recommend it."

"This is beautiful dinnerware - beautiful to look at, sturdy enough to be kid-friendly without a lot of breath-holding (to a point!), and sets as elegant a table as you wish to set. I can't wait to add more pieces in upcoming years. This is my first brand-new set of really good china as I collect old sets, but this is as appealing to me as my vintage dinnerware."

I love that it's got just a hint of Christmas but still feels festive & it's dishwasher safe so no more standing at the sink for hours after your guests have left hand washing all the dishes. "My first China. I never registered for anything when I married, but at age 40 I decided it was time to have something nice to serve holiday meals on. My set started small and now I receive additional pieces from my mom each holiday. I love this pattern and my family looks forward to joining me and using it as well. "I started out with a gift certificate from my boss about 8yrs. ago. I fell in love with this pattern. I have loved the Lenox line since selecting mywedding pattern over 40yrs. ago! Each year I add something to the Winter Greetings dinnerware and will pass this on to my daughter one day. It's hard to believe you can put them in the dishwasher & bake in them! Each year brings out a new item that I just can't resist! I use the baking piecies all year long, but start with the dishes around Thanksgiving time. I can't imagine my holidays with out "Winter Greeting"!"

"If you want the best, here it is. We had always gone to mom and dad's for Thanksgiving Dinner, but decided they needed a break and volunteered our home. For the first time, we had all the family coming to our home for dinner. After looking at many china patterns, we decided that the "Winter Greetings" was for us. After all, we love birds. How could we go wrong?, beauty plus birds. Everyone just fell in love with them, even my granddaughters love the birds. When asked where we bought them, I said "Macy's, my mother-in-law said "of course". Now if that's not a recommendation I don't know what is !!!! We couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to get the accessories!!!"

I have bought over 60 fine pieces of the china at Macys a few years ago, And it looks as good today as it did when I first bought all of it!
