"I have been looking for everyday dishes forever. I wanted something durable that I would love for years. The Macys Associate steered me to these dishes. Who would have known that these dishes are durable, beautiful, and made for everday? They look expensive, but are very reasonable when you compare them to other china. I have had them for over a month and look forward to buying many more pieces. Need more proof? Have the Macy's associate bang two plates together. No chips, no cracks, still perfect."

"i've been looking for classic porcelain white dinnerware for quite a while, but i didnt want to spend a fortune. the hotel collection fits the bill. it looks much more expensive than the price and is that perfect, pure white. additionally, the dishes arent too heavy, and arent too fragile, so they are perfect for everyday use, but can be dressed up for special occasions. i ended up only getting the serving pieces, the dining plates, salad plates, and bowls. i bought villeroy and boch cups and saucers and some decorative dessert plates to accent the set. i love them! one word of caution - the dinner plates are big. i have to rearrange my china cabinet to fit them because they are too big to fit in my rental apt's kitchen cabinets!"

"My husband and I were looking for modern white china while registering for our wedding. We ended up registering for another pattern, but took it all back after we saw the hotel collection china. It's just what we were looking for and is extremely affordable. We purchased almost every dish that is offered and while we've only had the china for a short time, we love it! It appears to be durable and is microwave safe. The only reason I docked it a star is that it is difficult to find and the salespeople did not know if it would be carried in the store for long. We ultimately wanted a pattern that we could feel comfortable would be around in case of breakage, and I'm just not sure if this is that kind of pattern."
