"I bought this steamer to replace anoterI had for the previous 7 years that had just begun to leak. We've had it for about 3 months. We hate to iron and use this steamer to freshen up and remove the wrinkles from work clothes (between visits to the dry cleaner). Since this steamer heats up so quickly, is so easy to use and so effective, I find myself steaming casual clothes as well. I love that the on/off switch is a pedal -- making it easy to use when your hands are full. This model is a serious step up from anything I've ever owned."

"I bought this steamer to use on synthetic garments that cannot be ironed. The steamer works very well to remove stubborn wrinkles. The water heats quickly and the variable level of steam feature enables me to target heavily wrinkled areas.
The retractable cord is a nice feature and the adjustable height of the hanger enables one to steam blouses, sweaters, pants, and dresses with ease."

"This is the best steamer on the market. I had another steamer that lasted many years. I learned from the old steamer what I wanted to avoid with the new one. This steamer has far exceeded my expectations. It is very well made and it was easy to put together. I really like the attachment compartments and the adjustable steam settings. "Used my daughter's and could not believe how well this works. Perfect for clothes that you are afraid to use an iron on - and your clothes look like they have been at the cleaners! I bought my other daughter, sister and mom one for Christmas, and the mother-in-law bought one for her other two children and herself too! It heats up quick and is easily rolled to the corner of the laundry room for storage - no ironing board or hot iron to deal with! Recommend this for all ages!"

"I liked everything about this steamer except for the fact that the integrated hangers would not secure to the base. The instructions say to use a coin to turn a lockbar that would secure the pole, but it never worked. No big deal, unless you try to pick it up by the poles. I used it less than once weekly before it broke (2 small plastic pieces that hold it) where the hose attaches- just days after the 6 month warranty expired. My daughter had the same steamer and it stopped working just after six months.
For performance in use, I would give it 4 stars, but it should haave lasted longer for the price."

"I just go this steamer a week ago, and thought my life would be so much easier. I thought being it was Rowenta - it would be top of the line. It has a good design with telescoping poles and valet wheels to transport easy, and the cord does wind with a touch of a foot button, but the steam pressure is weak at best. I have steamed 2 cotton dress shirts and a pair of cotton capris. All I get is wet clothes which are slightly less wrinkled than before. And it takes a long time to make any sort of progress with the wrinkles. I had the same experience with a thin, delicate shirt as I did with a thicker cotton shirt. The steam pressure is the problem, I believe. It seems to start out stronger the first few minutes than quickly fades. I am so disappointed, because I thought this steamer had all the bells and whistles...but it is going back this weekend!"

"All the good reviews on this steamer baffle me, I've owned steamers before and knew what to expect. This one has very low steam pressure but somehow managed to soak my cloths. Wearing wet cloths is no fun! My daughter used our last steamer everyday and got so frustrated with this one so she quit using it. I exchanged it for a less expensive steamer that seems to work better so far."

"This is the second steamer I purchased and I am quite satisfied with it. I've had it over a year now and it still steams like it did when I first purchased it. It works great on thin materials such as silk, rayon, polyester etc. However, it's not made to work on jeans and other heavy materials. I wish I'd purchased one years ago; I surly have gotten my monies worth. A good thing about it is the on an off button is at the bottom. You simply push it on or off with your foot. The burst of steam is super strong and it takes less then a minute to heat. The only thing I don't like about it is, when you pull it to roll it around, the long poles showing comes out of its slots. Another thing is the cord is supposed to "self whine when you press on the button (showing at the bottom next to the on and off button)." Mine hasn't yet. But I brought it to steam my clothes.....that it does well!!!!"

"I received my steamer today, I was so happy to get it - I tried it out right away! It works really well! I tried it out on a few dressy shirts, and let me tell you, the pleats and wrinkles disappeared! I love it. I hope it lasts me a long time. What a time saver as well. It did the job real fast! I highly recommend this product. Also have to mention, it was shipped to me real fast --which is great!"

"WOW!!!! Truly the best excuse to toss that archaic ironing board and iron. This machine is like having a personal valet.! My daughter suggested I purchase cheaper model to start ..to see if it was "user friendly"..I chose a Rowenta based on my satisfaction with their iron.. This machine is now my "Best friend".. It's fast, efficient, no iron creases to re-iron, no chance of fabric burns ( be careful not to to steam your fingers though)
That ironing basket is obsolete too..I steam and hang my clothes as soon as they dry..It's easy and the the results are amazing..Heats up in less than a minute,,great for touch ups before leaving for work.. get that "back from the dry-cleaner look" ALL THE TIME!!! Love it for my cottons ( that's most of my wardrobe)..the wrinkles just fall away and synthetics are even faster. Can't comment on its longevity..I've only had it for a week..yet based on the Rowenta reputation and my experience with their products..I'm not expecting any surprises.
I am pleased I gifted myself with the best of investments.. A real TIME-SAVER...You will celebrate this purchase!!!"

"I Have debated for a while wether to purchase a Garmet Steamer or not. I have had several Rowenta irons of several price ranges and none of them seemed to have met my expectations. I decided to try this product and I am glad I did. It has a great steam output, quick to produce steam upon turning it on, and extremely easy to use. It works great for releasing wrinkles and touching up garments; however, not to be used to iron shirts from scratch. Everyone in my household wears dress shirts daily wether it is for work or school uniforms and I still find myself ironing on a regular ironing board. Nonetheless, I find it very handy for my draperies, polo shirts, undershirts, and even for most pants. I even manage to quickly remove wrinkles from my blankets and duvet covers eventhough I wish the body was a bit wider and sturdier so I could have a larger surface for accomodating these larger items. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. It has become a great addition to my small house wares collection."

"I bought this steamer after using an older Jiffy that a friend of mine has. This one heats up fast and does a really nice job. The hose is flexible and the whole unit is sturdier than my friend's Jiffy. The in-unit storage for tools is a plus, as is the variable steam output. I use it mostly for shirts and won't be ironing much anymore. In short - if you want a serious steamer you can't go wrong with this Rowenta"
