I love my new furniture., September 8, 2009

"About 6 weeks ago we purchased the couch, loveseat and oversized chair in the dark brown color. We had looked at several stores when we got ready for new furniure. We knew we wanted a sofa with reclining ends. My husband and I couldn't agree on anything until we saw this set. It seems like good quality (I guess time will tell). I love the color and it is so comfortable. The reclining ends are great for a relaxing Sunday afternoon nap. At first I worried about the dark brown showing cat hair and dirt, but so far it hasn't been a problem. We buy those Pledge Pet Hair erasers and go over the furniture about once a week. Our salesperson told us they often call the oversized chair a "cuddle chair" because it's just big enough for two people to cuddle up in. If you are looking for comfy furniture that reclines I highly recommend this set. I also prefer the customer service at Macy's over other furniture stores. We were greeted with a smile when we first entered the store then left alone so we could browse at our leisure. At other stores we felt like we were being stalked until we got tired of it and walked out. I've also had to talk to our salesperson about our bill after our purchase and he has been super nice and eager to help."

The best We Can Find, August 4, 2009

"Well after searching for days now, several local furniture stores, Ashley’s, Lay-Z-Boy and other specialty stores this was the best value and comfort we could find.

Having owned Lane in the past I feel assured of the quality, it fits my wife great, and she is such a hard to satisfy person.

We have not gotten it ordered yet, going into town this week.

Add to that the quality service department of Macy's furniture department and this is a slam dunk. We have had relatives who did have problems with furniture many months after the sale from Macy's. I was impressed with the care they received and the satisfaction assurance attitude they found."
