"we waited a long time for this set since it was out of stock...but the wait was worthwhile. It is a beautiful solid, and yet comfortable piece of furniture. We bought the set from Cherry creek store, where they have a great selection of furniture to choose from. George Meyers at the store provided us with outstanding service all through picking the right piece of furniture and keeping us informed until the final delivery. "My husband and I purchased two double recliners in July from the Cherry Hill Macy's Furniture store. We tried several reclining loveseats and found the Alden just right for our needs. We are very satisfied with the look, comfort, and quality of our loveseats. We purchased loveseats because of greater flexibility in arranging furniture. While I would have prefered the center armrest/beverage holder, I did not want the longer length. Instead, I use multi-functional sidetables, as needed. You'll want to keep that in mind when making your decision on the type of seating you want. I strongly recommend that you go to Macy's Furniture store, rather than order on-line. They have a great selection and you'll get what is comfortable for you. And be sure to ask about their Worrynomore 7-Year coverage....it's a great plan."

Not sure if I love it as much as the other reviews,January 19, 2010

"I bought this sofa after reading such good reviews and now I that I own this sofa myself, I have to write a review. It is no doubt a great sofa , nice leather, looks modern, great reclining feature But I do have a little issue with it. One, the height. If I dont want to use the recliner option, then the sofa is too high for me in the sense that my feet do not touch the ground while sitting. I am 5-2 so I am not too tall but also not that short for a woman. The other thing is the depth. I remember on our previous couch, both me and my husband could lay next to each other on the couch to snuggle, but this one is not deep enough for two people to lay side by side. And lastly, the leather feels cold in winter so we always have to keep a comforter on it, kind of ruins the beauty of the couch but not much choice!
Overall a good looking couch but not very comfy cozy."

Great recliner set,January 12, 2010

"I just got this set delivered, sofa, loveseat and chair. I like the quality, it seems to be made well. In the store I noticed variations on the leather so I was prepared for that. For example the sofa has a smooth testure on the arm rests but the loveseat has the more textured leather on the arm rests and the smooth leather on the seats. I wish the leather was more consistent . Also the sofa seems firmer whereas the loveseat is a little softer and the seat is a little baggy when you get up and the leather doesn't bounce back. The color is a very dark brown and at night the color seems almost black. These are the only negatives. I tend to be a perfectionist thats why I wish all 3 pieces were made exactly the same way but from experience I know it's not the case. Overall I am satisfied and I will not exchange any of the pieces in fear of getting worst ones."

"The lumbar support and firmness of this collection felt wonderful on both my and my husbands' bad backs.
