"This has to be the best priced product out there for a phone charging device of it's kind. However, that being said...although it is very efficiently designed - in theory - it lacks a certain level of detail and workmanship and therefore: appears cheaply made, is somewhat awkward to use, and, depending on your device(s), does not fit the cords inside very well. The first one I ordered arrived with the finish damaged and a streak of glue along the felt. I should have tried it out at that point. The second one had a neater appearance, but the drawer does not come out smoothly and is smaller than one would think, given the depth of the product. The power strip barely fits inside the leftover space in the back such that it has to go in diagonally. I have one device plugged in now and the top is just closing. I am not sure it is going to be functional once we put our other devices in, so this item may be returned in the end, afterall."

"At this product's normal price, it is a very convenient organizer. At Macy's sale price - it is a terrific bargain, and a great 'tool'. This is a handsome piece, well constructed of real wood and polished to a nice satin finish. But what makes it truly useful is what's inside.

It has a 6-outlet, switched power strip - to plug in your small rechargeable toys - phone, i-Whatevers, cameras and so on. The power strip is circuit breaker protected, and the outlets are well-spaced to help accommodate the various transformer type plugs used on most of today's gadgets.

One seemingly small feature in the design of this piece is what really makes this look and work as good as it does. The power strip is located under the hinged top cover. The designer had the foresight to provide a small cutout at each docking section, which allows the wires to pass through, leaving the 'rats-nest' hidden beneath the felt-lined cover. And finally, the small drawer is great for holding the little gizmos that usually come with the toys, like your Bluetooth earpiece and extra batteries.

All-in-all, a well designed, well made product at a great price! Can't ask for much more than that."
