"I ballroom dance, and bought this dress for one of our many dance events. Everyone loved it. The fit is perfect. Because of my height, size and style preference, I usually end up buying from the Junior Section--I'm a "well-kept" 53 year-old, 5'8", 34/28/36 measurements, and quite leggy. I purchased a Medium size. The dress actually falls right at the top of my knees. No need for neck jewelry; just a nice bracelet, strappy heels, and a little purse."

Dress for my wedding cocktail party

"I ordered this dress for the party following my wedding because my wedding dress is big heavy and I get hot in it.
MY BODY TYPE:
Im 30 years old, a dress size 10, 5'6, 150 lbs, breasts size 36or 38B (Im not to sure since my weight gaine). I gained 25 lbs in the states recently and Im VERY self conscious right now so I'm looking for a nice dress that makes me look good as well. This dress shows just the right spots and hide well my tummy and grown butt.
THE MATERIAL AND COLOR:
This dress is light, flowy and very body flattering, the material is light and delicate, if that's what other reviews meant when they called it 'cheap looking'. I find it looks light, flowy and elegant. Under the flowy skirt part, there is a more solid white skirt that lays close to the body, so there is a really nice effect with the pleating skirt being slightly transparent.
The color is pretty white, maybe like an off-white, not a creamy ivory like is shows on the picture here. Im very white and have trouble catching a tan without burning to red and the off-whitish color flatters my skin color as if it was slightly tanned.
LENGTH AND STYLE:
The length falls right above my knees so for me, it's just short enough to be cute and feminine, maybe if it was over my knees it would look a bit to conservative/matronly. I can actually wear the dress without a bra because it has enough construction up there to hold my chest nicely. I could still wear a strapless bra under though if I had bigger breasts.
I was afraid the flowers might make it look to girly but they are just right and add a little something special to the dress. The pleating doesn't bulge out if you have a tummy because there is a small waistline part under the breast that keeps it all in. Also, I can wear the one strap tucked in the dress and just let the flowers showing, I think that's how I'll wear it. With a leather jacket this can also be a cute summer evening/downtown dress. The dress did come all folded up in a tiny package and came out without a wrinkle and the pleating kept very well.
Anyways, Im happy that this dress is beautiful and most importantly, makes ME look beautiful as well.

"I ordered this dress in orchid and the color turned out quite a bit darker than I expected based on the picture but it's still pretty. I do agree with another review that the pleating is a lot more noticeable in person and the material is a bit on the cheap side but the dress is still nice. After reading other reviews that the dress runs small, I ordered a medium. It feels a little bit loose however if I had ordered a small I probably wouldn't have been able to get it past my shoulders or hips because the band around the top isn't very stretchy which is probably why everyone says it runs small. To help others out, I'm 5'6" 130lbs, measurements are 35-27-37, 34D."
