"This is a great Dooney & Burke bag! I was Christmas shopping both with and for my wife – a generally prohibited Christmas protocol, when I spotted this beautiful bag. I asked the SA to share it with us - intending it as a gift for my bride. She however found another D&B that she clearly preferred. In the meantime I could not leave this gorgeous purse alone. My wife noted my fascination with this handbag and acquired it later in the evening without my knowledge. Imagine my delight on Christmas morning when I unwrapped my presents and found it under the tree - a gift from my secret Santa. I so love that woman! This purse now occupies a proud position among my growing wardrobe of prized CD possessions. Yummy.
Despite its medium label it is very roomy, compartmented with just the right niches and well organized for all my femme needs. The color selected, a rich burgundy, is beautiful on this bag and very versatile. The calf leather feels soft, rich and supple. It is my favorite bag. I'm sure you'll love it, too!""

"I bought this bag a week ago, from macys.com... I had spent almost a month looking for a new bag, going to shops, and looking at brands, but there prices were too high for something I could find at regular stores. So one day I went to Macy's and i found the perfect purse. I had to say it was beautiful. It was brown leather, with an an ajustable strap. I knew it was the perfect one, because it had a reasonable price, it was good quality, and it was a brand almost everyone knew about."

"I was looking for a larger purse to use during the week when I go to work. When I saw this on Macy's website, this is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted it in black however they only had 1 left in Taupe. I like the leather quality. I wish the strap was a lot longer. It's fairly snug if you put it on your shoulder under your arm."

"I just purchased this bag and what a great size! It's not too big and not too small. Really nice size for carrying your essentials and other items. Good quality leather and zippers and the red is such a beautiful, vibrant color! However, there are 2 small things I would change. First, I wish that it had the little metal "feet" on the bottom of the bag, to proctect the leather when sitting it down. Secondly, if the strap were about 2 inches longer, it would be perfect. My concern is it will be a bit snug on the shoulder with a heavy winter coat. Overall, it is a gorgeous, high quality bag that I would recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed!"

"I had been waiting for Dooney to make a good size handbag. And when I saw this purse I bought the purse in Black, colbalt and I also was looking for the brown but the store did not carry it.When I got them home I was very disappointed The shoulder straps needs to be longer. at least 12 inches I had to return the Dooneys back and I am still looking I am glad that Dooney is going back to the leather I do not like the Plastic. I will not recommend this product. The zipper is also really close to your under arms. I would have given it a 5 star if the shoulder strap would have been longer. ."

"I have this bag in Palamino (beautiful gold/yellow). It's been rained on and not a spot on it. It holds everything and is easy to carry because of the one handle. It looks good filled up or with only a few items in it. I love this bag and wish I could afford it in every color! I got something (?) black on it and used Coach leather cleaner - came right off - no problem, no spotting. Great! This bag will wear like iron."

"I purchased the medium size bag in saddle color. This bag, is a great size. You can fit so much, and its not over whelming for size. Still large enough to carry plenty of stuff. It holds up well to heavy things as well. Very classy, stylish bag. You will not regret spending the amount it cost. I use it as my everyday bag, and I know it will last me a very very long time. The color is very classy as well; goes with everything! It is worth a try if you are unsure. I will buy Dooney and Burke bags for now on!"

"Absolutely perfect size. I love how it fits on my shoulder. I got the Hot Pink for the summer, and now I want a neutral for fall! Zippers work fine, and I already adjusted the strap. It says medium size, but I consider it a large purse. Perfect for carrying everyday things!"

"I am pleased with my 2nd purchase, the first one is black. The downside is that adjusting the shoulder strap has been impossible on both handbags and the zippers on the two small pockets can be difficult to open. The the bag needs to be flat in order to open them."

"I simply adore this bag...the best Dooney ever made. I have it in Black and Hot Pink and love how comfortable this bag is. Sylish and practical with two outer zip pockets that sercurely stow my lipstick and keys makes it totally functional. The bag is the perfect size for everything that I have to carry and then some but never looks bulky on my shoulder. I've already gotten tons of compliments on this bag. I don't know what "bad odor" other reviewers are talking about. All I've smelled from day one and even now is that awesome Dooney leather "new car smell" which reminds me time and time again that I've got an awesome, quality bag that will lasts me a long time...Great job Dooney...keep em' coming!!!"

"I totally agree with MYGIRL from Illinois - bag smells horrible!!! after a few days the smell started to go away. I found the bag to be way to heavy, after you put your things in - it is even heavier. The top doesnt slouch like in the picture - you have to manually make it slouch. The zippers are difficult - no easy glide. They get hung up. I ordered this bag for its size. I took a trip for 10 days. surely wish i could return it, but i have used it. it Looks good! nice looking bag, but a real pain!!! I LOVE my COACH and will continue to buy"

"Like so many other ladies, I love D&B and then amongst us are lovers of the color RED. This handbag is the best of both world's. I have never seen a more perfect color RED. However, I have a feeling I might be saying the same even in another color...which I plan on doing ASAP.
