"This is the only thing I use when preparing vegetables for my salads which I eat every day. I use it mostly for shredding carrots, cabbage, and cheese. It is so easy to clean and is compact which makes it nice to store when storage is limited. Best invention I have found."

"My oldest son bought me my first Salad Shooter 18 years ago and now I would not be without one. The first one lasted 16 years. He bought me a new one just a couple of years ago - a deluxe one with several definite cutting blades. I love it for shredding vegetables, cheese, and fruit. Does great with nuts. So easy to take apart, clean, dry, and have ready for the next use. I would definitely recommend everyone have one of these as an essential kitchen appliance."

"I rceived the salad shooter for a wedding present in 1989. I love it so much, I'm going to have to break down and buy new one! I use it mainly for shredding cheese. I haven't seen one for sale in a long time, I'm glad I was able to find it at Macy's! You can't go wrong with this product!"

"this is a great idea. rather then sitting dicing and cutting up veggies you just put it in whole and it does the work for you. it is also great for hard cheese as well. great for making a salad or use it right into a pan. i love using this for making pasta dishes with vegtables in it becasue i can just peel whatever i am using and just use it while i am cooking straight into the pan. another thing this is great for is to put topping on any dessert. perfect for adding nuts on top of cakes and cookies. no mess no fuss. saves time. it has differnt blades for differnt cutting techniques."
