"I lost my Sister to breast cancer and my Mother is a two-time survivor. So when I saw your handsome Susan G. Komen ties online at Macys I just knew I had to buy them for my late Sister's sons. We are from a family of teachers and I thought what nice tie for them to wear to school during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Well, they loved the style and color and wear them throughout the year. When I gave my late sister's husband one he knew he would think of her every time he wore it. He mentioned what a manly tie it is and how easy it was to tie. It is not always easy to find a tie that suits so many age groups, but with all the colors and styles I felt I found a great gift for any man and the reasonable price was another bonus. I felt like I had really given a gift to three men who loved every aspect of their tie. My next gift was to a male Physician. I gave him this gift because you see all the female doctors wearing the pink ribbon gear, and the last time I saw him he said he gets compliments on it all the time and asked me where I purchased such a unique tie. I replied at Macys, of course, the quality store!
Our family puts on a fundraiser in honor of my Sister and in four years we have earned $20,000 that goes directly to the hospital that cared for her and to its cancer care unit. The fundraiser is as unique as the silk ties I purchased. At this year's wiffle ball tournament we plan on raising $10,000 in our one-day event. This year's trophy will have a Susan G. Komen tie from Macys wrapped around it. To all those who have lost their battle with this disease and to those who continue to fight this ugly disease or those who have survived, I hope you enjoyed my "Little Pink Ribbon" story."
