"My husband and I travel a bit and one of the things we have always loved were the Belgium Waffles. I had a old type waffle maker but they just were not the same. "This is the greatest waffle maker! Easy to clean as it hardly needs any cleaning. Just a bit of vegetable oil before and after use. Great for one person, too. Just follow your own pancake recipe and bingo, a great pancake. Don't use non-stick spray, use vegetable oil."

"This waffle maker makes wonderful waffles that come out easily if the batter touches the edges and is left long enough to be crispy. (I have never used a waffle maker before that I've been successful at getting them out easily.) Once out, there is nothing left to clean, although the use and care guide does suggest a method of cleaning any baked on batter. The signal lights tell you when to put the batter in as well as when to take the waffle out. The booklet gives several unusual recipes, but I found one on the internet for plain waffles which was originally from a Toastmaster guide. The were light, crisp and fluffy. My husband and I both enjoyed them and froze the extra waffles for later use. I am very pleased with this waffle maker."

"My husband is the waffle chef in our family, he has purchased four of five waffle makers over the years and not been truly satisfied with the results of any of them. We purchased Bell Cucina as a "lets give it one more try" idea. And we are both well pleased with the results. The waffles cook on both sides evenly and quickly. Clean up is relatively easy. We have only used it ten or so times but it is working quite well for us. Very happy to have it, it appears our search for the right waffle maker is over."

"We don't cook waffles often so I didn't want an expensive model. The plates are no-stick so just a little cooking spray each time works great. Wipe with a paper towel after use. Read the hints about how to know when waffles are done--it's fool-proof. Most recipes (in cookbooks, on baking mixes, etc.) make two nice big Belgian-type waffles. Yes, it would be nice if the plates were removable but for the money, this is a wonderful bargain! I have had this product for more than a year and just bought one as a gift."

"I read the reviews before buying this waffle maker and decided to give it a try. It was a big disappointment! The top did not seal right - I used less batter than recommended to make sure it was not overflowing. The manual did not have a basic recipe to my surprise, and the waffles didn't turn out good. Returned the next day. I got a rotating Oster waffle maker for half the price of this one and it's excellent."

"I bought this waffler on sale for just under $30 two months ago and it works wonderfully for the price. I highly suggest reading the tips in the booklet to get started-I did just that and have made perfect waffles from day one. I spray the waffle maker each time with PAM, use 3/4 cups of batter per waffle (spread it around evenly with a spatula) and I have never had any overflow to clean up. The ONLY downside is that the plates are not removable, however, I just use a paper towel to clean in between the grates-a total of 5 minutes. I looked at the next model up priced at $80 and it was a bit more sturdy, but other than that, there was no difference. This product is an excellent deal."

"I've had this waffle maker for 2 months and I've used it a few times. Getting started was REALLY easy. I practically made waffles as soon as I took the waffle maker out of the box. The waffles came out fluffy with a crispy exterior, though you can adjust the settings to your preference. My ONLY problem with this waffle maker AND the reason I didn't give it a 5 is because at clean-up time I was disappointed. The cooking plates are NOT removable; this made cleaning up difficult. I like to remove all the oil in between the grooves; this was very hard to do, especially with the top plate. Also, if anything sticks to the plates or if you over-fill the plates with batter, cleaning becomes a bigger inconvenience. This was my only complaint, though I think it's a great waffle maker for the price."

"No regrets with this model. My 13 year old son and I made waffles last night for the first time and they turned out perfect; waffles came out thick, brown and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. He woke up and wanted more waffles, and again, they came out perfect. Easy to use, easy to clean, and waffles are fluffy and flavorful. Also, it's lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. I highly recommend!"
