"I recently discovered the need for one of these (having always before had it built into the kitchen). This one is great- very attractive and easy. The base is a bit wide- but it doesn't take up much counter space, a big issue for me right now.

You still sometimes have to use both hands to rip the paper towel off but it's a great and classic piece for the kitchen!"

"Works well and is very convenient. Top is easy to press and grabs roll preventing crazy spinning as I yank off a towel.
It even works fairly well just pulling and tearing.
The base is well weighted and has a no slip grip."
