"I ordered 2 sets of the Maharana pattern during a recent sale. They arrived very quickly and were packed nicely. The pattern is beautiful and overall I am satisfied with the purchase to date. However, a few downfalls: 1) I was hoping the red was a little more "red" rather than burnt red/orange, 2) One of the mugs already chipped so I don't think the dishes will stand up to everyday type usage (which I was hoping for since it was described as microwave and dishwasher safe), 3) Some of the pieces are irregularly shaped and last but not least 4) The bowls have very little depth. If you are looking for inexpensive china that looks great, and you are willing to sacrifice a bit of quality, I would definitely recommend this set."

"I fell in love with the design when I saw it online... I had not seen it at the Macys store. I bought it and everyone loves it. The only thing is the salad plate is heavy like a stoneware plate and I bought it thinking it would be lighter. The dinner plate chipped very easily too, which disappointed us alot. Overall I am happy with the colors and the pattern of this dinnerware!!"

Lovin' These Dishes,

"Although the description says "red," I relied on the photo and happily found that the dishes appear more "cinnamon"--like a rusty red, which is what I was after. I like that each piece (cup, bowl, dinner plate) is not exactly the same pattern. I did buy one set, was happy with them, then purchased 2 more sets. There may be a SLIGHT difference in color between the sets, but not noticable unless one were to closely inspect. I assume that's a differnece in dye lots. Dishes arrived boxed and then packed well in bio-degradable "peanuts" within a shipping carton. This is a wonderful everyday set. Dishwasher and Microwave safe is key. I have 3 boys under the age of 12, and I'm comfortable having them use these."

"This set brings an exotic look to your table for both everyday and special occasions and at a very reasonable price. The only complaints I have are that the colors, especially on the rimmed bowls and salad plates, are not as deep as shown in the picture and one of the bowls is tipsy (unstable)."
