"This vacuum picks up everything. I had a Bissell in the past and after getting this... wow... I wish I knew earlier how much yuck my vacuum was not getting. I had to vacuum each room a few times. Now when I vacuum I can see it is picking up a lot but the carpets looks clean... it really works!"

"Purchased this vacumn on line after reading all the reviews and seeing the commercials hoping for a great product. Well, it is as expected. When I received the vacumn I was all excited to use it and see how great it really was. The amount of dirt accumulated upon the first vacumning was a big surprise. I vacumn regularly and needed a powerful, lightweight because I have a two-story townhouse with stairs. This is a powerful vacumn for it's weight and size and exactly what I needed. I would recommend this vacumn to anyone who needs a new vacumn cleaner. It makes vacumning a pleasure and does a super job on all types of floors. Highly recommend this product!"

"I waited a littlel while before I purchased my Dyson just to be sure it really was as good as it was advertised to be. That was a mistake! IT IS as good as it claims to be. Even though it is light weight, it is still a little dynamo! My carpets have not looked and felt so good in a long time. I would whole heartedly recommend the Dyson Ball to everyone and tell them not to wait to get one!"

"I bought this vacuum after our hoover just stopped working after 1 year (the warranty was only 1 year). The price was higher for the dyson but I bought it primarily because of the 5 year warranty and great reviews. It absolutely does an amazing job. I vacuum my house everyday and it still manages to find dirt! The suction is incredible and the light weight and ball make it exceptionally easy to maneuver. I have recommended this to everyone and a few have purchased one as well and loved it. If you're on the fence about this vacuum do not hesitate- you will be very pleased with it!"

"This is the best vacuum cleaner you can buy. Its got great suction and it moves swiftly at any angle. I love it. After hurricane Katrina I bought a Dyson, it was much bigger than this one. Infact twice the size or more, but you can't find them anymore. Like a fool I returned it because I was afraid it would get stopped up with the new carpet fuzz and break, so I returned it back to the store. I bought a cheap $50 vacuum cleaner and it broke, then I bought another one for $149 and it broke within a year. The carpet fuzz and dog hair kept stopping up the hose and then the on/off button would not work. So then I started shopping for the Dyson. I have it and would not trade it for any other except a larger Dyson. I don't like emptying it after vacuum 2 rooms, but it does great cleaning.
I recommend this to everyone with carpet or without. Doest great on ceramic tile and hardwood floors too. Better than a broom!!"

"I bought this vacuum hoping it would work better than the machines my husband had bought in the past. I knew the cost was steep but was hoping what I had heard about how good it was would balance out the cost. After it arrived, I was so surprised at the size. How could something so "little" work as well as they say for the price I paid? But, it did. My husband does not know the cost, but he sure does like the way the little thing handles and operates. Disposing of the dirt is the easiest thing I have ever seen. In fact, due to problems with my back, I have not been able to vacuum in years. This machine has taken out all the work of vacuuming and replaced it with fun. No fighting and pulling with this machine. Easy to put away and very light weight. Each time my husband uses it, he states how much he likes it but doesn't want to know how much it cost. It is well worth every penny I have spent. I won't go back to those heavy machines. I will tell anyone, this is the best machine you can buy and I have had ALOT!! Works well with the dirt from the farm, the hair from the dogs and cats and even the corners that are hard to get to. I am a believer!!"

"We have a Dyson DC14 that we use on the 1st floor of our house. When our other vaccum (Panasonic) died, we went looking for another Vaccum for our upstairs (4 bedrooms). Having had good luck with Dyson in the past, we came arcoss this model and the price was just in our Budget. This vaccum did not live up to our expectations. Its not good with thick pile rugs nor does it pick up anything bigger than a mint on the floor. Also due to the smaller size of the canister, we need to empty it more often to maintin proper suction. Our DC14 can be used 3-4 times before it needs to be emptied. this one needs cleaning after every vaccum.... Needless to say this one went back to the store. Waiting for a sale on one of the bigger Dysons ... If you have a small appartment or lots of thin pile carpet/ hard wood or tile, this may be the Vaccum for you as it also takes less space in the closet."
