"Received the Tangier Collection about a month ago, when I received them two sets had broken in transit, and one set was missing a small plate. They were sent in their original packages without any additional padding added. Called Macy's they replaced them quickly. Have had them about a month and just love them, they are vibrant and beautiful and I have had many, many compliments on them. However, I do see where they have problems with chipping. I've been handling them with much care, but have seen small flaws as they get used. This however didn't stop me from ordering more as I love them so much, my thought is as they break or chip, as long as Macy's keeps them reasonable priced, I'll just replace them."

"These dishes set a beautiful table! I got this set, a four place of gold, and a four place setting of red. I found place mats that looked like they were custom made to match the Tangier, and even men comment on how gorgeous a table it makes! BUT, two issues: One, the printed plates chip horribly, on the corners, with the most gentle of care. Two, because they are so large and square, they do not fit into a microwave. Only the sandwich plates will fit. Also, the coffee cups get too hot inside a microwave, so be careful not to heat coffee in them. They are huge, easily holding two cups, which is nice, but if you don't drink it before it cools, you do not want to use it as a reheating vessel. I wanted to give these dishes five stars for their beauty!"

"I use these dishes everyday. I love them! I use the salad plates because they are so big and we are watching are portions and I love to cook!!! I put then in the dishwasher and I have not chipped one yet but I do run a tight ship and if the guys want home cooked meals they clear off the happy dishes carefully :) When we entertain the whole set is used and it is quite impressive with serving bowls and platters."

"I love these dishes. I have the green ones including the platter and large serving bowl. I use them everytime we have company for dinner. The green is a little lighter than it appears in the picture on my computer. I actually bought these dishes, then bought some more pieces a few months later. The second ones I bought appear to be a little lighter green than the first ones. But its not enough of a difference to bother me. I have other dishes in red and some in white. They all mix and match well."

"I bought these dishes in several small purchases over about a year or so. I still love these dishes and hope that Macys does not discontinue them. "Tangier pattern is actually seen on the Rachel Ray show. Lovely dinnerware that sets off dining room and kitchen beautifully. Be extremely careful of chipping. I've had this set for just a year and almost half the pieces are chipped. Very disappointed, but a salesperson mentioned this is a problem with espana."

"I think it has been discontinued and I am so wanting them to bring this line back. You couldn't ask for a more dynamic and stunning set of dinnerware! So colorful, so happy a pattern! It will transform any simple table into stupendous! Please carry these again so I can stock up! I hate to see these go. The pieces have raised detailing over such wonderful coloration. The red is brick red, the green is soft, the mustard background is so beautiful. You will never tire of them, and they are substantial and strong. Highest recommendation!"
