Terrible, Cheaply Made Shoes, Stay Away!,

"These may be the cheapest and most poorly made shoes I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing. Note that I am extremely easy on shoes, my last pair of dress blacks lasted me 8 full years, worn 2-3 times a week, and my dress browns are well on their way. These shoes were very uncomfortable, but I figured that they would break in correctly. I was wrong, they still cause bruising. After only a week I noticed that the sole was wearing quickly, and after two months I have completely worn through the rubber heel and most of the way through the toe. After three weeks I noticed that the sole had actually detached from the upper in the front two inches, which forced me to super glue the shoe back together. After putting a hardcover book on the toe to let the glue dry for a few hours, I pulled it off to find that the book had permanently indented and marred the extremely cheap leather. Any minor scuffs are permanent, no amount of shining and buffing removes or hides them. Stay away from these shoes, buy a better brand and get your money's worth. Check out the reviews on some of the other styles of Alfani shoes, and you'll see that many people agree with me."

"This shoe is great quality and has a lot of comfort! It's the kind of shoe you can wear all day and your feet will not hurt. It also adds class to anything you wear. You can dress them up or down. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!"

"Takes a little breaking in but the shoe is comfortable and solid. The heel is pretty thick and gives the person an extra inch in height. Would recommend to anyone looking for a classic looking solid shoe."
