Quality control issues

"Fine fabric, appears well constructed. A good looking suit. BUT there are quality control issues. I ordered 34 waist x 30 inseam pants. They were labeled as such but when I tried them on, they came up over my ankles. The inseam actually measured 25 inches, not 30. I exchanged them and the next pair of 34x30's I got actually measured 33x30. If Alfani can get its act together, this suit mught be a keeper. Also beware that this "trim fit" suit is a tighter fit that the other "trim fit" suits I own. But that may be another quality control problem."

"I bought this suit for my lean 17 year old son. Most dress clothes look baggy on him, but the slim styling fits perfectly and looks fantastic! He actually smiled at himself in the mirror! The waist in the pants runs a size small, so be sure to go up one size. The length in the pants seemed to be about 1/2" long. The jacket seemed to run true to size. This is a great suit for someone who might wear it a couple of times per month or less. I think I would go for something more expensive and with a more durable fabric if it were to be worn a couple of times per week. Thank you, Mr. Dahle at the Ridgedale store, for helping my son and me find exactly the right suit!"

"Jacket looks stylish with the suit or with other pants, jeans, etc...nice fit. Pants fit perfect around hips but the bottom cut is too narrow and gets caught up in shoes because of its narrowness, wish it was wider. In any rate, I bought this and the grey alfani red suit."

"I'm a college student on a moderate budget, so needless to say, I can't spend a lot of money on lavish clothing. However, with this suit, I can get pretty close for the price.
The fabric is a thin but durable material, and is as vivacious as black can get. It really is a deep, brilliant sort of black. I saw it, and immediately had to go for it.
The Alfani Red line of clothing is great! I love the ties and undershirts. Together with the suit, they are sharp, stylish, and edgy.
Buy the suit, and a few different shirts with a tie or two, and you have many different combinations that make it look like you have a few suits. I only have this one, but many Alfani shirts and ties, so as far as others are concerned...I have a few different suits.
It's fitted too, so it hugs the body pretty well and kind of accentuates one's features. I love the look.
When I get paid again, I'm going for the same on in charcoal or gray."

"I actually bought this at a Macys store where a matching vest was also available. For the price (generally, it is at least half off of the list price) it is a good value, although you won't mistake it for one of the higher end brands. Although I generally steer clear of Alfani, the RED series they have come out with are much more contemporary. They are cut a bit more form fitting. The black pinstripes on black are subtle yet eye catching."
