"One of the better quality of a woven cotton style blanket! We love this type of blanket..perfect on top of flat sheet, and no need to use decorative comforter. Also the color we choose (rosemary) compliments my Croscill pattern so well I make the bed so a part of it shows...really "pops" decorative wise. As far as the care: from experience I know to always wash cotton woven blankets first, tow times. I wash, rinse twice, dry...wipe out the washer, clear the dryer link trap while drying...and do that one more time before using. (Just before first use!) Soft...warm...yummy cotton to curl up with. This one actually gets better with each washing---and, unlike cheap imitations, the weave is so tight there is no snagging. Lauren did a nice job for the sale price...can't beat it! (I've tried)"

"We have a lot of guests that come to stay with us. I ordered these RL blakets on sale. They were a great deal so I got one in every color. They were nice and soft when I took them out of the package but after one wash they started to pile. You would expect more from LRL."

"This blanket leaves you covered, head to toe, in LINT! It is awful. I returned it after ONE use. I was sniffling, sneezing all night with a runny nose due to all the lint that was coming off of this abomination of a blanket. You should have seen my dark pink night gown - it was completely white with LINT. OMG! Never again.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU PLAN TO SEW A SWEATER OUT OF LINT!"

"Id give a zero rating if I could. Blanket looks nice and is warm but leaves fuzz all over everything. I had it for almost 3 months and washed it repeatedly and it still sheds. Returned it today. Do not waste your money on this. Macy's should pull this from shelves."

"I love these blankets. They hold up so well. The waffle weave keeps its shape. It washes very well, and comes out looking just like it did when I first bought it. I liked my blanket so much that I bought another one and am getting ready to buy two more for my sons bed. I like how heavy these blankets are, they keep the heat in and are perfect for the cold winters up here in Washington. These are great blankets!"

"This blanket is so-o-o soft and snuggly. The initial drying produced quite a bit of lint in the dryer's filter screen but otherwise have not experienced the lint problem reported by others. Suggest washing separately (and per tag) at least for the first time.
Glad I ignored the negative reviews. It's really a super fine blanket."

"Thanks to the previous reviewer who clarified the care instructions for this blanket, I followed the instructions on the TAG and the blanket came out beautifully! I ordered it in white and washed it before using it. It came out of the dryer looking just like it did when it went into the washer brand-new and beautiful. This blanket will be perfect to use as a throw on my bedroom quilt. Don't hesitate to buy this blanket. Follow the care instructions on the TAG and not the packaging."

"I agree with others in that I too would give this blanket a ZERO! It is the worst for fuzz and pills all over. After repeated washings it isn't any better and the lint trap on my dryer is full. Makes me wonder how much of this blanket will be left after another washing or two. Don't waste your money on it!"

"I would give it ZERO star if I could do so.
I got this blanket on sale. Loved the color and the touch, but that was only before I washed it.
It lints endlessly! I just washed it the 4th time hoping it would stop linting, but huge balls of fuzz still came out everywhere. I wonder where they found this terrible yarn given it's made in the USA.
It lints so badly my bedroom is filled with dust from its linting. And my allergy has worsened because of it.
I am keeping it out of my room and will try to wash it a few more times and see how it goes. If no improvement it's going to the garbage! What a pity...
They shouldn't be selling this product at all having found this flaw with the quality. Nobody should be inhaling fuzz when they sleep."

"I registered for this blanket as I have purchased other RL blankets in the past and liked them. How I wish I had read some of these reviews beforehand! I received the blanket as a gift at one of my showers and was excited to put it on my bed. After one washing, it pilled, huge balls of linty fluff came off of it. So I rewashed because the fluff was everywhere and there was no way I could put it back on the bed. After the second washing, the edging fell apart resulting in a stringy mess. My dryer had the fluff left in it as did the washer. I am so annoyed! I will never purchase another RL blanket again and am just sick that a great shower gift was a total waste of money. DO NOT purchase this blanket--you'll be disappointed and have lots of extra work cleaning up all the lint balls that come off of it!"

It is not shaped well (is difficult to align on the bed) and no matter how hard you try you will have large loops of thread hanging because the weave is so loose, you can't avoid snagging threads. I was so disappointed by a name that has usually delivered the best quality."

"The Care Instructions on the blanket packaging are completely different from the C.I.s on the blanket TAG. Read the Tag - That is how to care for this blanket! I bought one a couple of days ago inspite of the reviews. I read and followed the Care Instr. on the tag. The blanket did not stretch or lose its shape in the wash, the weave is nice and tight and looks gorgeous on my guest bed. Enjoy it! Bag the packaging!"

"This blanket was exactly what we needed to fill what was missing on our bed. The blanket was not too hot and had enough weight so that it didn't slip off during the middle of the night. It washes well. We bought the sage green which came a little darker then the image on the website but it still matched our bed set perfectly."

"This blanket is AWFUL! I got the tan one and and it shed huge balls of fuzz all over the other blankets and pajamas. When it was washed on a gentle cycle in cold water it left behind many strings! In the dryer on just tumble with cool air the filter had to be cleaned three times in the 50 minute cycle. After the cleaning the fuzzes turned into pills that can be found in our hair, pajamas, curtains, etc. This is the weirdest blanket I have ever purchased. A cheaper blanket would not have caused this much problem. If the blanket was an animal it would be considered to have mange."
