"I love this set up. Unfortunately, you cannot find a replacement for the glass tea pot, so I actually had to buy this a second time when it went on sale.
It is great for making your own tea blends or chai as it has a filter in the center of the tea carafe.
But, no matter what links I followed, I was not able to get a replacement carafe."

"I bought this electric tea pot about 3 years ago for my mother in law as a gift. It was so conveinient, and efficient I purchased one for my mom and sister on their birthdays and one for myself!!!!!!! I absolutely love this tea pot: It boils water fast and keep brewed tea hot if left on the heating plate. There are no flaws or problems in this tea pot and i have mine for 2 years now, using it daily several times per day. I would definately recommend to everyone!!!!"

"Wow..I am thrilled..I love a second cup of tea but in a teapot even with a tea cozy ( brits know what I'm talking about) the second cup is never as good as the first because it's not as hot..until now...what an awesome combo..I love the quiet boiling tea kettle..my big stainless steel one sounded like it was going to take off ...and the warming plate keeps the pot of tea at the perfect temp..tea is perfect down to the last cup..love it !! and what an awesome price point..I'm buying them now for next Christmas presents !"

"I found this while looking for a replacement to heat water for tea at work. I was going to purchase just the water heater, but liked the idea of being able to make loose leaf tea at work. I purchased it and have been extremely happy with the product! The water boils quickly and after making the tea, I can just pour smaller amounts in my cup without worrying about it going cold before I finish it. It's been great for work - easy cleaning too!"

"I really like this product. I just wished it came in black.then I would leave it out on the counter all the time Plus after awhile the white does get stain from the tea and you would not see that if it was black. "We use it constantly. It works fast and flawlessly and we love the built-in (and easily removable) tea-strainer! Its relatively small capacity keeps us from making too much and letting it get stale.
We were inspired to buy it when we visited friends in England and saw how easily their electric kettle worked. Before that I thought boiling water on the stove was just as easy, but it really isn't -- this is much faster and requires less attention. Our friends had a plain electric kettle but we liked the extra teapot and strainer. Now I think I'll be buying another as a gift for the office.
Oh, and the price is better than Amazon's, which surprised me!"

"i had been using this product for about a month. today the bottom of the carafe fell out, spilling hot water everywhere. i suspected it wasn't as thick as others i've used in the past. i've hand washed this product every time (it has a warning not to use in dishwashers - probably because it would break in there also).
i really like the design of the product. too bad it lacked the quality to last."

"My husband and I received this as a gift during the holidays and believe me it was used everyday until the heating plate stop working. We've had it about 7 months and decided to contact the manufacturer about the problem, however the item was on back order until sometime in August. So my daughter decided to returm it to Macys (who by the way provided outstanding customer service) to see if they would replace it because there is a 1 year warranty on this product; which they did. I gave this product 5 stars because it heats very quickly to boiling point. Another very neat feature is the glass carafe that has a mesh strainer for loose tea is also kept hot by the warming tray. We drink a lot of tea in my household so we really love this tea tray. This is so much easier and quicker than heating water on a stovetop and much safer then microwaving water. In addition, to thank Macy's for replacing the item."

"I like the convenience of having the hot water and the tea carafe together. The water boils quickly and the carafe keeps the tea hot, which is great. The only problem is getting the stains out of the carafe and the basket that holds the tea leaves. The carafe is too delicate to put in the dishwasher and must be handwashed. The tea basket gets really stained each time you use it. So that is the only downside of this wonderful tea set."
