"This is a great set that compliments my Fiesta dishware nicely. I got this set in white to contrast with all of the colors I have.

The platter is the perfect size for small appetizers, slices of bread, crackers, and other food -- in small quantities -- that one may have; the bowl is a great size for dips, fruit, small side dishes, gravy, etc.

I recommend this to anyone looking for small, beautiful, and durable pieces."

"The companion set is just the right size for everyday use. The shamrock color was a bit darker than I thought it would be but I have grown to love it! My husband is rough on dishes so the 5 year chip warranty is a comfort."

"I've owned Fiesta for quite awhile ,but didn't know this set existed. Thebowl is a good size for lots of things,including vegetables ,popcorn for one etc. The platter doubles as an excellent pasta dish . Of course the color selection is wonderful."

"These pieces are the same great quality but a tad small for serving pieces. Having not seen these in person I was expecting a larger twosome. The bowl is the size of a cereal bowl. They do serve smaller items well, sides for three or less and small roasts or chicken breasts."

Nice little serving pieces

"When I purchased this set a year ago, I thought they would be bigger. The platter is slightly longer than a regular dinner plate, and since it's oval, not as wide. The bowl is only slightly bigger than a fiesta cereal bowl. That said, they are still very useful. I use the bowl a lot for serving vegetables and the platter works for serving a small meatloaf and other like-sized items. In fact, the platter would actually be the perfect size to use (instead of the standard dinner plate) for a burrito or other Mexican food dish. Using in such a manner would be a fun change of pace. I've been contemplating purchasing a couple more platters this size to use in this way.
Really, the only disappointment I have is that I purchased these in cobalt blue and they show more scratches and water marks than the light colors do. Oh well, just have to towel dry these instead of air dry and be careful with the serving utensils.
That said, I still give these 5 stars, as I love them, they are sturdy and beautiful, and go with the rest of my lovely fiesta. I would recommend them to a friend, just in another (preferably lighter) color."
