"i use this thing for everything! getting cooked pasta out of a pot of water, getting french fries, or anything fried out of oil, and PERFECT for raviolis! raviolis are just to delicate to drain in a colander and this is perfect for fishing them out with out damaging them! it would be so much better if the handle was coated in silicone or something else smoother. i dont know if its a flaw or something but the wood on mine is REALLY rough."

"i couldn't wait to start filling my kitchen w/ msl gadgets to use!! i have only had this strainer for a few weeks and have used it several times, hand washed only. it still looks good, as i use crock pots for my spoons, whisk, etc.. works well. no i hope i win $1000.00 for taking the time to write the reviews! ha! ha!"
