"Macy's magic never ceases to amaze me. I love to shop at Macy's and after moving way out in the country, my shopping trips came to an end. I was in need of a new bedding set and the local stores just didn't have the quality I was looking for. Fortunately a friend of mine was flying in from Southern California, and after making the long drive to the airport I thought I would take the opportunity to visit the Macy's in town to see if their magic was still working for me. When I saw the "Rutherford Park" bedding collection it was exactly what I had dreamed of - it was perfect! The beautiful rich colors create an atmosphere of luxury, and contentment. I'm happy to say that Macy's still has the magic and I see it every day. Thank you."

"I've never purchased a full/queen comforter or duvet that actually a fit the queen bed and hung like a bedspread. Previous purchases (not Ralph Lauren) were so short, had to drape so the side not showing to the bedroom door was short...ugly!!! This Rutherford Park duvet drapes beautifully and covers as it should.
Wonderful quality. This fabric can't be found at lower price points..the quality of construction...I hated to pay the price (got it on sale) but the value is there. Not as bright as it looks in the picture but looks like a more muted version. And, surprise, the buttons are hidden and at the bottom, there are hidden slits and ribbons to keep the comforter in place, easily.
When my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter saw it, she said it was so pretty. I agree!"

"I purchased this set a couple of months ago now, and I love it. The picture does not do the colors or textures justice, so I was happily surprised when I opened the packages! The quality is great....and the colors are not quite what I expected....but that was OK. I feel I did get my moneys worth, as I don't usually spend this much on bedding. But, Ralph Lauren does seem to be consistent with their products."

"I cannot give any idea of what the set is like because the picture is so misleading. The picture looks like a soft and lovely floral, mostly in muted or heathered greens. It is NOT. That part is a small part of the comforter in the center. The outer part of the comforter is in Hunter Green and deep purples which are barely shown on the photo. So misleading!! The skirt is a dark hunter green and basically the comforter is dark, not soft as it looks in the picture. It is lovely if that's what you want, but I wanted what it looks like in the photo."

"For those shopping on-line this duvet cover is more like a thin tapestry on the top and a sheet on the back side, unlike most duvet covers that are so thin like 2 sheets. Lovely in-person and gorgeous on the bed. Have not tried washing it yet, but another reviewer said they have many times with no issues. I searched forever for a more substantial duvet cover and this is it!!!"

"I watched this set for sales and purchased it a piece at a time. the first piece I bought was the set of shams. when I held them up to the dark green paint in our bedroom it was a perfect match. I have a 'thing" about florals in the bedroom I share with my husband. Our furniture is a large cherry four poster. We are both history buffs and this desgn and pattern hearkens back to the intricate tapestries and designs of 16th century in England and Ireland. I love the combination of colors and patterns that provide a multitude of design options in the room. The fabrics are sturdy and warm without being too bulky.
This ensemble helps to create a very lush and royal feel to the bedroom...and who doesn't want to feel like royalty?"

"The colors are rich looking, with an air of an old world Persian rug. It lays beautifully across the bed. The comforter has a quality weight and feel to it. Matching green and purple accent pillows look very majestic as do the European shams. I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it looked in person, as I bought it online, which did not do justice to the colors and design."

"I have the comforter which is the perfect weight and the plaid sheets are super soft. I've had them for several months, and I love this set for lots of reasons. Mainly because it's both durable and pretty which is hard to find. This was one that my husband found a little less feminine (with the plaid ) but I found pretty with the floral comforter. It's more pricey compared to other sets I've purchased, but worth the investment. I highly recommend this one!"

"With 2 dogs and a husband that all share the same bed with me, I was nervous about spending so much on a duvet. This duvet is not only amazingly beautiful but so resilient and durable! I have machine washed it plenty of times and it comes out brand new over and over again....plus you can't see any dog hair (or drool, I have a bulldog) on it at all - so worth it!"

"I purchased this set to go with my new bedroom furniture. The quality of this Ralph Lauren product is wonderful. It compliments cherry furniture very well and takes that luxury look to the next level. I purchased the comforter and it is not too thick, but very comfortable. The standard and Euro shams add that finished look to the bed. I added plum colored sheets which bring out the jewel tones. All in all, very pretty, good quality and makes me want to stay in bed all day or just pass by two or three times to peek at it!"
