"I bought this sectional because I wanted a contemporary design and a lively color rather than the standard white, black or brown. I've used this only 2.5 months and am having buyer's remorse big time. The leather is very flimsy and we already have a scratch/tear. My husband and I and occasional guests use this once in a while, so I shudder to think of how it will hold up when my son starts jumping on it. The material underneath the extended section is already sagging to the ground. I know the design look nice but STAY AWAY if you don't want to end up having to buy another sectional in a year or two."

"Our sofa just arrived and it looks great! We wanted a specific dimension and this sectional was the size we needed, plus we thought it looked nice. We were not able to sit on this specific sofa, but we sat on ones by the same company, which the salesman told us sat the same. Unfortunately, this sectional is not nearly as comfortable and the leather is much rougher. The sofa sits nice, but the cushions are not very soft and the leather has a rough texture (we bought the brown color). My husband described the leather as looking and feeling like cheap car leather. It is not soft, like other reviewers described (at least not in the brown). If you want a fairly firm couch, with textured leather that looks nice then this is the couch for you."

"“First of all a huge compliment to Ben at the Macy's Furniture @ the Neshaminy Mall (Bensalem, PA#. He exceeded my expectations and our journey to place the order which had many twists & turns #original order changed & Macy's cancellation system could use some tweaking vs. voiding total order & re-entering a new#. However, Ben kept in contact with us via cell every few days checking delivery progress #shipped to our condo in FLA# & shipping updates. Also rec’d updates via email. His Mgr. Sandy was completely approachable and helped guide the transaction smoothly #a long time employee of Macy's). The 3-pc leather set is now in place in our new condo & is absolutely beautiful. I'm hoping I can post a photo too. The leather is like butter & the pieces are somewhat mid-century moderne which we love. Also purchased the 7-year protection “give back” plan. You can’t beat that. If you don’t use it you are refunded in full. That’s a pretty great guarantee & hope we don’t need to use it but one is always skeptical with leather. That outcome will be determined. The delivery men were friendly & efficient to be careful of any damage while entering and setting up. My only issue with the delivery men is while they were being very careful … what they didn’t realize is that the gloves they wear “all day” were dirty and left dark fingerprints on the yellow butter-like leather sofa. It was easily removable but if someone is reading this from Macy’s I hope they make that adjustment. Could use a “white glove” approach. In closing we are happy as clams in our new beach condo and Ben @ Macy’s helped make it a reality  JAS”"

"I purchased this sofa bed in the dark brown color from Macy's 3 years ago as seating for a newly contructed media/entertainment room. This sofa has been used almost daily by a family of 4 (5 if you include the cat) for watching tv and movies and playing video games since the date of purchase, and it still look like new. I haven't experienced the sagging seat issues or wrinkling leather described by many other reviewers. We have also used the sleeper bed many times. The mattress is firm but comfortable. The only issue we had with this sofa bed in the 3 years I've owned it is that a plastic fitting for the support at the foot of the bed broke because the bed was not folded correctly. I applied glue to the broken part of the fitting and it works, but this fitting probably should have been constructed of metal instead of plastic. Every so often, I treat the leather with Lexol, a good quality leather conditioner. I expect to receive several more years of service out of this sofa bed. Overall I'm very pleased with this sofa bed and will look to buy another when this one is eventually in need of replacement."

"So I have been looking for a sofa for a little over 6 months now, and I new that I wanted a leather sectional, that wasn't brown, or black. I decided that I really liked the more tangerine in color approach. Right after I walked into the store, I started walking and right off the bat saw this particular sofa. The color was exactly what I had been looking for and it was a sectional, and a bonus it had a sofa bed with it. I went back a fee more times to make sure that it really was the one that I wanted, and once I figured out the money and saved it, I came in and bought it.

Over all service of the staff and employees was very friendly and open minded and willing to work with me the best that they could.

Delivery was very prompt, and quicker then what I thought it was going to be. The delivery guys where very polite and put the sofa exactly where I wanted.

As for the sofa itself, it is very comfortable and I am very satisfied with the sofa bed as well, it got used the fist night we had it, by a fellow coworker that needed a place to crash for the night.

I asked him how his rest was and the comfort of the bed. He agreed that it was a good one for sleeping.

I really enjoy this purchase and I am truly looking forward to doing more business with Macy's furniture again. W

"We have purchased many home furnishings from Macy's. And have always been pleased. This sectional did not hold up. Only my wife and I have used this sofa. About a year ago it began sagging and now the webbing is gone. We have to sit on the edge now. The warranty was for two years. We purchaed about 2 1/2 years ago.
Not recommend. The sleeper would probalby be ok, we purchased without the sleeper option."

"We bought this at Macy's in the Spring of 2008. It has held up great- we keep it in our playroom/family room and have had no problems with it whatsoever. It was a difficult piece to move when we changed rooms, but it's been great- and cleans up perfectly with the kids and animals all over it all the time. We would definitely purchase again. It's the sleeper sofa version, and so its a nice way for our playroom to double as a 2nd guest room as well."

"I was thrilled when I got this sofa. Then a couple of months later there were permanent valleys where people sat. After a service call I was stunned to see how poorly this sofa is made. It is basically held up with elastic straps and foam. The sofa continues to cave, it is hard and extremely uncomfortable at this point. A huge waste of money that I did not have to waste!"

"I'm still kind of holding my breath after reading previous reviews, but so far, I like it very much. Yes, there is a slight gap between the chaise and the sleeper sofa sections, and the sleep sofa cushion seems a little bit firmer than the chaise cushion, but after a month I haven't noticed any unsightly wrinkles or sagging.
It's very comfortable, attractive, and seems sturdy enough to be pet-friendly."

"Let me start by saying, I am a very frugal shopper (like most) so when paying top $$$ for something, I expect well built, good quality items. I must admit I was a little scared to purchase this after reading some of the other reviews, but over all I am happy with my purchase. I have had this sectional for about 8mths and it has received sooooo many compliments! I mean everyone that comes in the door comments on how gorgeous this thing is. From freinds and family to the cable guy and handy man! Yes even guys have commented on it!!! So with that said, it looks beautiful.
Now on the down side--yeah unfortunately there is a down side :-( I have the sleeper-not sure if that's part of the proplem. It is realy firm when you sit down. Almost uncomfortable (you can feel the springs when you first sit). For now its ok but I'm thinking it may not wear well. We do not sit on it every day (we also have a family room). Also, were the two pieces connect (on the back) there is a noticeable gap (not quit lined up).
I still will rate this sectional four stars because it is gorgeous. Cannot give it 5 stars because of its flaws."

"Purchased sleeper set. First sofa was damaged during delivery. While i awaited replacement i noticed that within the first 10 days or so, the leather wrinkled - cushions do not bounce back to original shape. Seems that cushions are poor quality. Sleeper side much too firm and chaise side much too soft. An inch or more difference where they meet in the corner. Thinking that i just had a defective one, i hope the replacement would be better. Replacement sofa arrived and same thing happened- sagging and wrinkling with in days of receipt. It looks old after such a short time. It is such a unique shape and color which makes it soo disappointing. we are returning and searching for replacement sofa. :(
One postive is that the customer service was prompt, courteous, professional and personable. I have several pieces of furniture from Macy's which are durable and of good quality. I hope the next piece is like that!"

The good, the bad and the ugly

"So here is the deal, before purchasing this couch I read all the reviews. So I went into it in the "buyer beware" mode. When the couch was first delivered it looked a little wrinkled but it is leather, so I accepted that as it being a natural material.

I love the look and feel of it but after about five months I noticed the leg in the crook of the couch was bent sideways and it was sagging were the two pieces joined together. Now we dont use this piece everyday and we are not big folks (not that it should really make a difference) so I was not pleased.

Macy's was great and sent out a repair tech within a week to take a look. It ends up it was not the leg, but the whole frame was broken in two. He thought it was probably like this before delivery. Another was sent to me in less than a week.

So this is the weird thing, when the new one came it looked like a completely differently made item. You can bounce a quarter off the cushions and it has a really pleasant smell to it the other didn't, it also had tags on it that were not on the other.

We will see how this one does. Macy's customer service is the best I have ever had and if you want to take a chance on it go for it. We are glad we did as we love it, but just be sure to watch it like a hawk.

So the long and short of it is I cant recommend this piece as not everyone wants to be concerned about a new couch, but it does look great and will hopefully look great in the future also. BTW there is a 10 year warranty that comes with it regarding the frame."

"We bought it for our family room and it looked beautiful in our room after delivery (very prompt. Best in business). But only after a month it started to sag. We are only 150 and 105 lb couple and using it lightly. We called Macy's and they sent a technician to take a look. He was also amazed to see the condition. He sent his report and Macy's offered to return it. We are very happy with the customer service but sad to see the sectional go. We are back in the market and thinking of buying vice versa from Macy's itself."

"We got it about 6 month, carefully using Renata.BUT.
One section of this unit already got internal foam damage. Gonna trash it I guess in next 6-8 month, till it's totally die. Quality of leather - no complaint. Something wrong with frame parts. Think better before you decide to buy that unit."

"I have had this sectional for about a month, and I'm very happy with my purchase so far. I was a little wary about the color, but since it's been in my home, I love it. After about a week the leather started to wrinkle, but still looks good. The salesman in the store told me that the model on display was a year old and this is what I should expect to look like after I break it in, but the leather on my sectional looks a lot more wrinkled after a month than the display model did."
