"Barcalounger manufactures high Quality chairs. My experience with this chair is that I almost bought it after so many tryouts.
PROS: Very comfortable without being bulky. Very compact chair. High Quality product
CONS: The stick you move to recline the chair is covered in letter and looks ugly. The overall looks of the chair is not the most appealing one.
I ended up buying the Champlain model for the same price. More comfortable and better looking"

"I've owned this chair for 10+years. with heavy daily use, this chair has taken it all. It's starting to show it's age, but still a great chair. If I replace this chair, it will be with the same chair, because they hold up so well. You can't beat a Barcalounger!"

"I love this Recliner, I my self is only 5' tall and have a difficult time finding a comfortable position in an average chair, for months I have been having lower back pain and just overall discomfort sitting in most chairs, I finally realized it was the size of the chairs I was sitting in, they are made for above average size people and I am by no means average in most manufacturers size chart. This chair however was made for a small frame and short legs, I informed the salesman of my predicament, and he pointed the chair out to me, when I saw it I knew if was low enough, and when I sat in it, it was right, the fit was perfect, it reclines quietly and its so comfortable your really can just fall asleep it it and feel no pressure on your lower back. I finall found a chair that fit my stature."

"I sat in way too many recliners trying to find one that fits a shorter body and this is perfect!!! It doesn't push you head forward because the top "bustle" is adjustable and is the smoothest & easier reclining action that I found on any recliner! BUT..it also fits taller body types too! This is one perfect Barcolounger!"
