Great bed,
April 6, 2008
By rzberrysunfrom Baltimore, MD
"I recently purchased this bed in queen size with the Worry Free mattress pad and bed frame. It is a firm bed, a little firmer than the model seemed like in the store, but I'm happy with the bed. I also didn't realize the standard height would be so much taller than the model or a low-profile height, but that doesn't affect the quality of the bed. I definitely like the motion control of this mattress and use a topper I already had on my previous mattress that makes it softer. I would definitely recommend this bed to a friend, I think it's a great quality product at a reasonable price."

Excellent Value for the Money,

"The Adelanto takes some adjusting to as it is a very firm bed, but, for the low price, it is perhaps the bed value one can find. If one has a preference for firm beds, the Adelanto by Simmons will fit the bill. It provides great support without feeling like a marble slab. I'm sleeping very well on this bed and am very satisfied. It's a great bargain!"

A Lot of Bang for the Buck!,

"You can spend a lot of money buying a box spring and mattress. Getting maximum return for your investment is difficult to gauge until you've spent a number of months and even years living with your bed. Let's face it, where do you spend more time 7 days (nights) per week and 365 per year? This mattress is without a doubt, a great victory for the consumer. Macy's again has delivered uncompromising value in a highly rated product which delivers more than was expected! I am tempted to give this product a 5 star rating for firm conformity and true support but I simply need a longer period of evaluation. My word? I say that as a traveling man who has spent evenings on a lot of mattresses, few if any are better in providing uniform support in any sleeping position! I'm almost as pleased with myself as I am with this terrific value. Simmons has delivered on performance, Macy's, on value!"

I love this mattress!,
August 14, 2007

"I have now been sleeping on this bed for one week and can safely say that this is the most comfortable mattress that I have EVER slept on. I’m in paradise! Of course everyone is different in what they consider comfortable, but for me I wanted a firm bed with just enough give in it so that no mater what position I slept in (I’m a back, side, and stomach sleeper) the mattress would contour to my body, and not vice versa. The Adelanto fits that bill perfectly. No more sore backs for me. Keep in mind though that this is a very firm bed. The salesperson at Macy’s was great and delivery was top notch. I’m so glad that I bought this bed at Macy’s as they really do an outstanding job there (I expect no less of course from Macy’s). I never once felt pressure to buy, and the salesperson absolutely bent over backward to make sure that I selected the right bed for me. Macy’s really is the way to go. I gave this bed four stars, as opposed to five, for two reasons: One, the bed measures only 79 inches (I measured carefully) while standard length for a queen is a full 80 inches. No big deal for most people, but I noticed it right away when the bed was put in my wood bed frame. Two, after examining the box spring upon delivery, the box spring construction seemed “cheapish” (for lack of a better word). Box springs play very little (if any) in the comfort of a bed, the mattress bears the brunt of that. But I would still like to know that I have a solid foundation under me. I’m sure it’s adequate, and because of the low price, I can’t complain too much. Overall, I'm very happy with this bed."

"We just recently bought this mattress and what a wonderful mattress it is. I have not slept so well as I have in years. It's a little firm for me but had to come half way with my hubby as he does not like to fluffy of his mattress."
