"I received this wonderful scent by accident. I purchased some parfume on a "pre-sale" and they were to mail it to me. Well, to make a very long story short, they shipped me the wrong scent. They had sent Magie Noire. I was disappointed to say the least, I had never even heard of Magie Noire. I was going to call Macy's to get it all straightened out, but I was curious, and went online to see what this Magie Noire was and read any reviews about it. Every single review was a 5 star rating with wonderful comments. So, I opened the bottle....and now I'm hooked! I get at least 1 compliment every single time I wear this. I love it."

"I too have been wearing this fabulous fragrance since its conception. I can not find anything that comes even close to this intoxicating scent. EVERYTHING on the market now all smells the same; flowery and too sweet. Well, that is not me!! I can not stand all that sweet, overly girlie fragrance that everyone makes now....boring! I receive compliments from men, women, young and old whenever I wear this scent. I am so afraid that with all great things, it will be discontinued because of lack of sales. I will go scentless when Lancome does this."

"For my 13th birthday I received this perfume and I have been wearing it ever since. I go back and forth from coco,#5, chance and of course magie noir. I hate that they changed the bottle but no matter, what is inside is what counts. Women with the most distinct senses and class only wear this and I have been in similar situations with people absolutely dumbfounded with amazment of how it smells. Most have never even heard of it and I just recently had to actually take my girlfriend to the store to find it. I will always love you my secret black magic!!!"

"I have used Magie Noire since 1985. It was given to me as a Christmas present from my husband's late Aunt so many years ago. It was a small exotic looking perfume bottle. I know that perfume loses its potency after a few years but this bottle's scent lasted for so many years.......This is my absolute favorite perfume. If you think about it, its been around since 1978 (thats almost 30 years). Although it doesnt come in the little glass perfume bottle anymore, I will keep buying and buying it in the spray. Please Lancome, don't ever discontinue this wonderful exotic perfume..................."

"I am super picky when it comes to perfume and I have been wearing this one for about 15 years now. I have tried and tried to find another one so that I can have a variety of different perfumes but nothing even comes close to Magie Noire!! There is just no comparison!! Almost every time I wear it I get a compliment from a man and a woman will ask what I am wearing. It is said to be an evening perfume but I wear it all the time. Most perfume's all smell the same to me and I like this one because it is so unique. It's not flowery like most others. It's like a soft vanilla musky orange scent that I've been told is intoxicating and sexy. IT STANDS ALONE!! It will be my perfume for life!"
