"I love the way this iron IRONS!! It's as if you have had your clothes pressed at the dry cleaners, its perfect for all types of materials esp linen...it gets rid of all the wrinkles fast and will form the perfect crease where you want it.
However there are a few issues with the iron which makes it just a little less perfect. 1. Be prepared to wait atleast 7 mins for the iron to warm up first before you are able to use it. 2. Also there is no water level indicator so u never know if the water tank has water in it or not so sometimes u wait the 7 mins for the iron to start up and then u go to use the iron and.....no steam cos its out of water...bummer....!! i dont know if that can burn the iron out or not but im sure its not good for the iron. 3. The iron also shakes when it is heating up 4. There is no automatic shutoff either which can be dangerous if u forget to turn the iron off.
Apart from the above issues it is a brilliant iron...well worth the money spent"

"The best! Cuts ironing time in half. Items look professionally steamed. Touch up a wrinkled suit or iron a cotton blouse. "Needs a bigger water reservoir at first glance this Iron looks like a big Beast. Huum, pressure steam iron. Oh I get it. This unit actually pumps steam, ,lots of it too! My wife and I actually love it. I even did some ironing. the only thing is the water tank empties before we are though ironing everything. Not too sure , but we might like this iron even better it had a bigger tank one quart doesn't seem to be enough. but then maybe I would have thought the unit too big in the first place if it was bigger. but once I got it that this is a Pressure Steam Iron we love it . the first Rowneta active steam lasted about five years so every other iron has only a one yar limited warranty . Hope this one last 5yrs too. then it will have been well worth the investment. we like it more all the time. ( after one month)"

"Wow. This steam iron is awesome. It realy does cut your ironing time in half or more! I was addicted the first month or so. Still, when I iron now, I actually enjoy it. I know tha my clothes look great. They never looked this good with any other iron. I was using a Rowenta Steam Iron before, but this one takes the cake! It's well worth the money."

"I really like this steam iron. Its a little big and bulky, but it sure does the job. Almost immediately, I lost the seal that seals the water tank. So I replaced it with a rubber band, which than melted in a goey mess. It all went downhill from there. At this point, somehow it keeps blowing steam, even if I don't press the steam button. I'm looking into sending it back. Be prepared to use good water for it, not every type of water is suitable for the inside."

"i have been a rowenta fan for many years now, i have always been pleased with the brand but i used to iron only the necessary garments, however ever since i bought the "rowenta steam generator garment steamer" iron. i iron everything i no longer take clothes to the dry cleaners, i recomended it to my daughter who hates ironing and she now irons everything, i recomended it to my male cousin and he also irons everything, my friend even iron the bed sheets. i also noticed that you do not need to press hard and iron in less time. the only thing that i missed from the previous one is that i cannot see the water level, but i get to iron a lot with one full tank. I have recommend it to every family member and friends, everytime i receive a visit i do a domonstration of how good it works and they all are amazed of how good this product is. i never put it away is always at sight for everyone to see. thank you."

"I like the base container. I don't have to worry about tipping over the hot iron bc it securely holds it in place. I don't have to refill the water tank as often either, but I never know how much water is actually in the tank so I don't know if I should continue or stop adding water before it overflows up into the funnel. Ironing is easy and, depending on the setting, it quickly removes the wrinkles and creases from my clothes but I wouldn't rely on the steamer alone to do any of that--it just makes my clothes all damp."

"First of all I HATE ironing, but iron everything. I have tried other steamers and they spit at the clothes and made spots. My current iron was a Rowena Professional iron and it did a good job but not anywhere close to what this one does. I was a pleasure to iron... yes it was. I saw the bottom of the iron pile for the first time in months. I even ironed my pillowcases and xmas table cloths...Should be nominated for best product of the year. It gets a 10+"

"we bought this product with lots of hope based on the reviews we read on the internet. The washer on the knob which will make it tight and not let the steam out is broken after a few uses and steam started leaking out and since the tank is full it also started spitting out and fell on the our iron settings knob which melted a little bit. If we use cool iron and then want to add a bit of steam there is lot of dripping on the garments."

"Amazing. I hated ironing! But I bought this machine and I tell you if you hate ironing well you will find a way now to iron everything. I ironed about 10-12 shirts in less than an hour. It is a fabulous investment. I have had it only for a week and am up to date with my ironing! It is fast and just slides on the clothing and takes out the creases easily."

"I became a Rowenta lover while working at a local guest hunting lodge here in the Finger Lakes. I ironed for at least 6 hours a day with the Rowenta pressure and steamer iron. I had always hated ironing, so much so that my ironing basket still had baby clothes in it when my kids were in high school. This all changed when I found this wonderful iron at the lodge. I had to iron heavy hunting clothing as well all linens and draperies , even guests' clothing. Ironing became my favorite chore because the volume of steam made it so easy....even fun ! I was doing this until last year...and I am 81 years old. If I can do it anyone can."

"I use this for everything that I wear, from sweaters and jeans to dress shirts and sportcoats. It's especially handy for garments that I hang dry (delicates and dry clean only) and it gets out wrinkles in a snap.
