My best buy yet

"I ordered the multi-clad set 12 piece. It is stainless steel, so no rust is expected. The handles use large steel rivets so they don't come loose. The finish is second to none and cleaning is extremely easy. Hint- use no abrasive cleaners/pads. Soak in warm soapy water for a few minutes and they wipe and come clean in a breeze. Hint- never use high heat as it isn't needed to cook properly anyway and it saves the finishes on such a fine product. You can't go wrong with this product and the lipped edges make it a better product than All-Clad for cleaning and pouring. The price is right.
I bought the deep 12" pan and 2 of the 8" open skillets to add to my set and a wok. I have never been more satisfied with a cookware than this."

"I did a lot of research before buying these pans, and the reviews I found on this set was so favorable. There were hardly any negative reviews when i bought them over a year ago. I think the quality has changed. They do not look nice unless you use Barkeepers friend every time you use them, they are high maintenance. I get white pots on the inside bottom of the pots. I wish I would have not bought these, but saved up for a nicer brand."

Frustrating and disappointing

"They're pretty. That's the good part. The main problem with these pans is the warped bottoms. The 5.75 qt stock pot that came with my set as a bonus, first, did not match the set. More importantly, however, it is so warped it rocks back and forth on the burner when you stir (I was making soup). I am replacing 30 year old inexpensive Revereware and even those sit solid and flat - no rocking. In the set both the 8" and 10" skillets are warped and "rock" as does the large size sauce pan! I kid you not!
Secondly, important only if you're small and older like me, the pans are very heavy. I should have expected that (3 ply) so this is just a heads-up for those it will effect.
Finally, I was surprised at all the discoloration, white spots, etc. inside. Much gentle work with Bartenders has not cleared that up.
Mainly though it's the warped bottoms. That is inexcusable. A pan should sit flat - period . Otherwise, besides being annoying as heck, how will it cook evenly??"

Research and Understand How to Cook w/Stainless Before Buying

"I have waited to review my purchase for two reasons, 1st to ensure I allowed enough time to learn how to cook with stainless, and 2nd to have at least two months with the product before rating it.

I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. IF you follow the guidelines for proper prepping of the cookware and the steps to cook with the cookware successfully, you will find this to be a wonderful purchase.

Now as far as stains. . .I find it rather unrealistic to expect no stains, what is realistic is the expectation of using minimal effort to remove a stain. I remember my mother having stains in her stainless cookware that she uses to this day. I listened to her advise, as well as what I found online. . .BAR KEEP is a must! It takes your pans back to the beautiful condition they arrived in if you are the type that has to have everything immaculate.

What I will tell you is you MUST cook any egg on a low temperature to ensure the non-stick many complain about. When one cooks at an overly high heat they eggs will adhere to the pan. But if it does happen let it soak for just a couple of minutes and it scrapes right off with little effort.

I will be adding a couple of copper sauce pans to my collections just to have the instant temperature change of copper for sauces/candies. Otherwise this is the best cookware set I have had."

Great set but different than other Multi-Clad pro pieces

"Great set. They heat up very quickly and distribute heat evenly. Just be careful when making the transition from using non-stainless steel cookware. They have different properties due to their construction. Use them with lower burner settings to avoid burning food. In addition, be careful and don't leave them on a burner for too long they can store a lot of heat due to their high specific heat.

Despite that just be careful you are aware that these are different than other pieces in the Multi-Clad pro line. This is the MCP-12N set which is different from the MCP-12 set. The difference being the shape and construction of the handles on the pots, pans, and lids."

"After searching all over, both in physical stores and online, I decided to go with these pans. I was a little apprehensive, as some of the reviews I have seen were slightly negative. However, after using some of the pans for my Thanksgiving dinner, I have to report that I am extremely pleased. Reviews and paperwork included with the pans did caution against using high heat with these pans. I thought that that might be a problem. Not really, and the pans cleaned up very nicely."

"I bought Martha Stewart collection multiclad set , returned it because food was sticking even in the lower heat. Then i read this whole review and 4.9 stars rating. I went ahead and order online. Received the package not in a good condition. whole set looks really great but when we cook food for example, sausage, pan cake, eggs everything stick or cook it in the very low heat and wait for 20 min for the things to cook. I will give them one star. I will be buying non stick pan for cooking breakfast...."

"I had originally purchase a warehouse club's 13 piece cookware set only to end up so frustrated with the performance and cleanup. I tried to work with it for a few months, but thankful for their return policy, it all got packed up and went back. Did more research and found this set for $100 more. SO HAPPY! This set is solid. The multi layered construction goes all the way up the sides which is KEY to consistent heating and easy clean up. I can't tell you what a difference this is compared to any pots that have those multi-layer disks adhered to the bottom surface. Beware of those. This set is comparable to the performance of much higher priced lines, without the hefty pricetag."

Cuisinart falling down!

"After much research and reading reviews, I decided to purchase this cookware. The set came scratched and the insides of many of the pans were pitted. There were actually tiny pieces of metal encased in the finish. I ordered another set and it came the same way. Cuisinart does not use 18/10 construction and I had read reviews that other's have experienced their pans rusting. I found a cookware store near me and decided to take a look at the indicidual pieces to see if they were made any better. The first skillet I pulled out of the box had rust spots around where the hande attached on a brand new skillet! Will continue to look for a quality product!"

"Recently retired my calphalon cookware and after much reseach chose this set. After reading you cook on lower heat, have adjusted and they cook quickly and evenly. Clean up is easy, just make sure you clean around the rivets. The only down-side is it is hard to find larger sauce pans, I don't want to use anything else."

"I can cook on half the heat that I normally cooked on. Nothing sticks as long as you use the lower heat and it cleans up with warm soapy water. It cooks evenly...I love, love, love this cookware. I wish I could find extra pieces to add to my collection. Did I say I love, love, love this stuff???"

"I have had this cookware for about a month. I can't even describe or put into words how happy I am. It is so classy looking I have it displayed on a bakers rack. The quality and even cooking is fantastic from browning to brazing and then you can finish in the oven and I mean really finish because it can heat to 500 degrees I love that, no more switching from a pot to a baker it is a real time saver. It also has a warranty, amazing Thanks for a great product , this is a home run!!! P.S my daughter who is a chef is green with envy."

"I love this cookware, if you preheat the pans and pots food will not stick, easy to clean, I sometimes clean it with baking powder and white vinegar it will look as if it was out of the box "NEW" this cookware inspired me to be a better cook and actually enjoy cooking :-). stylish, beautiful and i am in LOVE with it.
