"I paid full price for these sheets and I am still happy with them. They have deep pockets and a smooth soft surface that feels really nice to lay and move on. They are sturdy and the corner pockets stay on the bed well. These are my favorite 500 Thread count Pima cotton sheets so far."

"I slept on these sheets at my stepmother's apartment and loved them so much she bought me some for my birthday. I almost cried after I washed them and they felt scratchy. Not nearly the buttery smooth sheets I had slept on before.
There has to be something going on with the heat of the water in the washing machine or dryer that is affecting the softness. Or perhaps the type of detergent, fabric softer or dryer sheets. I washed them exactly as the label instructed.
If anybody reads this and can tell me exactly how they wash their sheets to make them buttery soft, please do!!!"

"My wife and I love the 500 tc sheets from Hotel. Making the bed is easy (no trouble corners on the fitted) and they feel pretty luxurious. The only thing that could be better about them is if they were 600, 700 or 800 thread count. We would have bought these other lines from Hotel, but decided the 500 were fine and now we have something to look forward to when salary raises come."

"I would not recommend these sheets, especially for the price. They are really rough and not near as comfortable as other sheets I have purchased with the same thread count for a lower price. They do have durability though-I'm still washing them every other day in hopes that they"ll soften up and they are holding up well."

"I bought these sheets in white for my brother who is terminally ill, and he absolutely loves them! He says they are the softest most luxurious sheets that he has ever owned and you cannot imagine how much of a difference fine bedding can make to someone who is ill. Buy these wonderful sheets for yourself and give them to someone you know who is ailing. It will give them much needed comfort and you great joy to know that you were able to make their last days more comfortable."

Luxurious sheets with less than generous width,

"Already a fan of Pima/Supima cotton, I picked up two sets of these sheets during a Luxury Linens Sale, and I'm extremely happy with them. They're soft, cuddly, and cozy while still being a crisp sheet, everything I was hoping for. I only wish that the Indigo color was available in the stores, as most of Macy's coupon offers exclude macys.com purchases.
Each set has been washed at least a half-dozen times now, and these sheets just keep getting better and better. While many recommend Egyptian cotton for its durability, I prefer the feel of Pima cotton, and figure the comparatively lower price will offset having to replace them sooner. Those with bad wrinkling problems are probably drying too much in their dryer at once, as I've found the small amount of wrinkles right from the dryer not worth ironing out.
Caveat: Even though these are sold to fit modern-day deep-pocketed mattresses, I found I still needed to buy a King flat for my Queen-sized bed if I wanted more than 2-3" on each side to tuck in (the length is just fine). My mattress is an 8-year-old Beautyrest without a pillow-top, but I use a merino wool mattress pad about the thickness of a sheepskin on it. Any quality flat sheet nowadays should be cut wide enough to cover all of this while leaving a fairly generous amount to tuck in on the sides, but these do not. That's enough of an issue for me to rate an otherwise perfect sheet as 4-star instead of 5."

"I bought these sheets in white and champagne to match the Hotel Color Block bedding. The white sheets wrinkle so much that I have to iron the pillow cases and the top of the sheets. The champagne colored sheets seemed to be a little bit more wrinkle resistent. They are much more comfortable to sleep on than the white."

Hotel Collection sheets not easy care,

"I bought the Hotel Collection 500 Thread sheets because I liked the feel of them. However, I really dislike using them because they need to be ironed. Not just a warm iron as it states on the care label, but properly steam ironed, as we did in the 1950's, before the invention of permanent press. Now I know why Macy's calls these Hotel Collection--the hotels have professional laundries to wash their sheets."

"I had been told to go to Macy's for sheets. My friend said they had nice quality. The saleswoman recommended the Hotel brand. I spent a bit more than I would normally spend but wow is it worth it.
These sheets are soft and have a beautiful patina. It is true Luxury on my bed now and I sleep so happily.
The only reason I only give four stars is after washing them I also got the faded stain on the fitted sheet and could not figure out why?"
