Mostly great shoes,April 30, 2009

"These shoes are incredibly comfortable; more comfortable even than my gym shoes. Good looking shoes as well, I've gotten many complements on them. The one drawback, and why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is that they are not waterfriendly at all. In fact they absolutely act like a SPONGE when it rains. Multiple dryings then crack the leather, although that's my fault as I should have waterproofed them earlier with some wax or something. The extent to which this is important to do cannot be emphasized enough: these shoes absorb more water than another pair I have made of cloth canvas. Otherwise though, very comfy and stylish."

"I bought this shoe for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately, the middle part of my husband's foot hurt when he had the shoe on. My husband has a medium size foot so I'm assuming this shoe is more narrow.
I also bought a pair of slip on shoes from Clark's. My husband's was happier with that shoe & it didn't bother his feet."

"These shoes are the best! I really like the ruggedness of Clark shoes as I am very hard on shoes. You can wear these shoes as casual or dress with flair. The best part is you can wear them all day and your feet will not hurt. Then start the next day all over again and still your feet will not hurt. the shoes are very supportive for my arches. They are light not heavy so you will not feel like your lugging concrete around your feet."
