Love this set

"I was very wary about purchasing this set because of all the low reviews but I got them for a good price so I decided to try them. We were replacing some "anodized" non-stick pans that had started peeling (into our food-yuck!) and I wanted something that wouldn't chip or peel. I love this set of cookware! They heat evenly, are easy to clean, and still look great after many uses! The set comes with a card that suggests hand washing them, so we have. The only thing I don't really care for is the plastic utensils but only because I already had so many, they work just fine. Also, many people complained about food sticking/burning. I haven't had this problem, even when I made some homemade alfredo sauce! I definitely recommend this set, especially if you are looking for good cookware at a great price!"

"I purchased this cookware about a month ago. They were great for about 2 weeks. Now everything sticks and stains. I made spaghetti and it stained the whole bottom. We make eggs every morning for breakfast and now we can't get them out of the pan. Not worth the aggravation of the food you waste sticking to the bottom! You're better off spending a little more to get a higher quality set. Because you'll spend more money making your food twice because it sticks every time!"

"The first pot I used from this set was the 2-quart pot. I made pasta. As usual, I added salt to the water. Somehow, that stained the pot and it won't come out. We don't have a dishwasher so everything gets hand washed. Unfortunately it tends to discolor as it dries. I really liked the sized of the big skillet though."

"Yes, everything sticks on this set and you can NEVER get it clean. However, that is not the worse part of it! When cooking on high heat for certain recipes, the plastic HANDLES fill my kitchen with the scent of chemicals burning!
I've been cooking for YEARS and have never experienced this until now."

"Purchased this for my daughter. She loves it ! I warned her about the hard clean ups I read in the reviews. Key is not to put the pans on super high heat. She said a medium up to #7 on the dial is perfect for a speedy clean up. Many of her friends are buying these also."

"The set looks nice and I like the different sizes. I use it on medium heat as recommended and food still cooks quickly. I do not like that everything sticks to these and have to soak for a long time to get everything out. Also for the quart size pot a ring of discoloration occurred with the first use, all my efforts in scrubbing has not removed it but it still looks good on the outside. Hopefully I will not encounter any more drawbacks."

"I bought this set for my Daughter. It looked like a good deal. She just moved into a new home, and the stove has a ceramic cook top. The flat bottoms on these pans were needed.
I have been cooking since I was ten years old. I am 67 now.
In all those years, I have never had anything like this set.
No matter how we tried, there was nothing we could do that would stop food from sticking on the bottoms. The frying pans are impossible to stop eggs from welding to the pan.
The insides of the sauce pans and 6 1/2 qt. pot are not the most user friendly to clean.
Some body has an overpaid metallurgist.
The description "Stainless Steel" does not apply to this set."

"I bought these because lets be honest the price was really good and i figure macys would not sale any cheap made cookware. ughhh i hate this cookware, first time use and they turn yellow and they had spots on them ....TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!DO NOT BUY THEM!"

"These pots are absolutely fine for a starter set or a vacation home. They have some heft to them and seem rather durable. If you are expecting a Cuisinart or even higher quality set, you will be disappointed. But for the price (a big component), they are quite good."

"I bought this set about 1 year ago, when the price was so low I couldn't resist. I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance! Yes, you do have to be somewhat vigilant in cleaning and cook temperature, but they heat evenly and I've rarely burnt anything in them (and it's usually my fault that I have). The only complaint I have is the handles are very loose on all of the pans. It's an easy fix, if you have a very small screwdriver. All in all, I'd definitely recommend these! And I'm going to buy another set for my mom!"

"I bought it at Macy's and within a single use turned black. The stainless polish all gone. Not worth a single penny. Imagine the polish going in your food. They call it stainless steel but it is some iron pot with very thin polish. Cannot clean with soap as the polish is gone in single wash."

"So I loved the pots when I bought them but after one use they look like I've had them for years. I would have thought that after one use they would still look somewhat presentable. Food sticks to the pans and the bottom doesn't hold up well to heat at all. The bottom of the pots are stained and can never get cleaned even after using soap pads to clean them Very disappointed with this purchase."
