"have used this toaster oven and my only complaint is that the digital timer goes goofy once in a while when in the toast mode. it blanks out and then resumes countdown, however, if you don't watch it the unit will burn the toast."

"If you're in the market for a toaster oven you're researching the best one on the market! My husband and I bought this toaster oven nearly 2 years ago, and love it! To keep clean up a cinch, line the shelves with aluminum foil and spray them with Pam (cooking spray). When you're through cooking, simply throw the aluminum foil away and wah-lah! We bake, toast, broil and convection bake in ours. This is a great alternative in the summer if you don't want to use the large oven to bake. This is easy to use, cooks faster than the oven and is easy to clean. Seriously, it's worth the money! Do yourself a favor and buy it and enjoy the simplicity and time saved!"

"This Toaster Convection Oven is outstanding. Not only does it save time and energy. But chicken, pork chops, etc. are more succulent, tender and so delicious. Cakes are fluffier and extra moist. Cookies, Brownies, bake up better than any oven I have ever used. What ever you bake or toast, comes out better in everyway. Plus you are saving money on electricity and not heating up your kitchen. This was the best money I have ever spent. I recommend this for every kitchen you'll love it."

Problems after 1st use!!!,June 19, 2009

"Used today for the first time. Teflon/non-stick coated bake pan is chipping already. While broiling a piece of meat, there was some smoke escaping from the door. The manual says this is normal and will subside with time. However, all that smoking apparently left a smokey appearance on the glass door. It almost appears as if there is moisture inside the glass door, which doesn't come off and has not gone away after several hours. I have tried to wipe it away without luck. My new toaster oven no longer looks new after the first day! While reheating something, there was a popping noise a few times. This makes me scared because there have been reviews on another website where the oven "exploded" with glass flying. I will be returning it. Very disappointed based on all the wonderful reviews."

"I love this toaster oven!!!! I love it so much that I have given it as Christmas gifts for my grown children. I use it in place of my kitchen oven most of the time. It bakes everything, fish, pizza, cookies, egg dishes, etc. The broiler pan is very nice not cheap, flimsy aluminum like most of the others and it comes with two racks instead of one. If you are looking for a really nice toaster oven you won't go wrong with this one."

"After much checking with many products and I mean extensive hard work looking we settled on this Krups. We've used this oven for many things and in all cases it has performed terrific. Nothing makes pizza better, or fish and chips, and anything else that needs a oven. Nothing can compare when it comes to toasting on top and bottom evenly. "I have had Krups Digital Toaster Oven for 6 months and use it all day long!! We toast with it, heat with it, and cook casseroles and meat in it. All come out nicely. I bake tender fish in it for 10 min. and it comes out perfectly. It is perfect size for my husband and I to fix a small pizza or several small items for dinner. I rarely use my larger oven now. I like the interior size for my glass Pyrex bowels.

Double check the crumb tray and heat escaping,March 6, 2009

"My wife and I are really impressed with the performance of this unit, but several points are worth noting:
The toaster works great - much better than others we tried. It is fast and repeatable.
Substantial heat escapes (apparently as infrared energy) through the front door. It's many times the heat which escapes from the competitors toaster ovens.
The crumb tray is not stainless as advertised - it is chrome plated steel. That wouldn't be such an issue, but for the one we purchased the chrome was peeling severely. Krups agreed the tray is apparently not as advertised and suggested we exchange the entire unit, but the crumb tray in the one we opened after returning to Macy's was also chrome plated steel, and was rusted! (The Macy's sales person was more than helpful helping us evaluate the potential replacement.) We're now awaiting a replacement directly from Krups."

"Received this as a wedding present. Great performance, easy to use, easy to clean. I use it more than my oven when ever possible. I even bought one for my mother and she raves about it. However, after only 4 month using it the door latch broke and i need to jiggle it to close shut. Now 6 months later the door won't close completely at all even with the jiggling. I'm going to exchange for a new one."
