"I have had this set for a few years and have been very disapoointed. While I LOVE the style of them, I have chips in nearly every piece. I have been mostly disappointed in my chocolate serving pieces, I had a guest place a piece on the counter a little too hard and it ended up with a huge chip. Needless to say, my guest felt terrible. Every piece I own has chips and I would not say I'm particularly hard on them. I would not buy this line again and am currently shopping for a new set.....NOT Noritake colorwave."

"I registered for the chocolate place settings for my wedding 2 1/2 years ago. I still add pieces (like serving bowls, pasta plates, and platters) to my collection whenever I find them on sale. The plates are durable and attractive - I receive compliments on them whenever we have people over for dinner. I highly recommend the brand and this style. It's timeless!"

"I have owned 8 place settings, 4 each of the chocolate & green for almost a year. They are perfect for everyday yet they can be dressed up for an elegant table. They are a great weight and durable. My 12 year old son unload/loads the dishwasher half of the time and nothing has broke. I looked for almost a year for dishes that I liked and these are it!!"

"We registered for these dishes for our wedding and recieved every set except for 1, so in own 11 sets. They are perfect. I have a husband who eats a lot, and they are big plates. They are also gender neutral and will work if you plan on moving. The colors go with anything. I have not had a problem with them ever."

"We've had these for 6.5 years and they've held up well, except for the 'grey marks' from flatware -- it doesn't wash off but it's like little veins in the beige area. All the dishes have held up to heavy everyday use with 2 kids, except the salad plates for some reason. We've broken/chipped 5 of 10. My favorite pieces are the large soup bowls - great for stews and pasta. They add some interest to an otherwise simple set."

"i bought these in 2004-ish, have always loved them, especially the deep bowls and the accent dishes. Some silverware rubs a silver residue on them, doesn't wash off in the dishwasher. only complaint, possibly something I just haven't learned about yet. great weight, size, simple non-shiny colors. and u can mix and match. i use graphite dinner plates, brown bowls, and blue salad plates. and on special occasions the pink accent plates instead (with the pretty flowers :D) LOVE them!"

"I love these dishes! I have service for twelve all in blue. I thought I might get a little bored with having all the same color but I was so wrong. "We chose these dishes as both our everyday and "nice" dishes because of their simple beauty and versatility, and the fact that they're ovenproof. (My mom had Corelle so I wanted ovenproof dishes -but nicer since they're our only set.) We got half blue and half green, plus the "colorblock" accent salad plates in blue and green. We've had them for over two years. Recently, a couple of mugs and a salad plate chipped, so they're not indestructible, but I think they're attractive and pretty durable."

"I was looking to update and replace my everyday dishes, but with 3 children, I needed something durable. I'm tired of Corelle, and the patterns didn't appeal; Pfaltzgraff is too HEAVY and chips; Fiesta wear just didn't appeal. Then I discovered this... WOW! The colors are good in pastel or bright settings; the dishes are sturdy, the finish rock-hard; they don't chip, and go through the microwave and dishwasher like a DREAM. The matte finish on the exterior, with the simple white gloss finish on the food surface are attractive, setting off both the room decor and the food presentation. The 10 oz. mugs are perfect to handle, the sandwich plates and larger cereal bowls are a must. I bought 3 place settings of four different colors - and will invest in accent pieces, mix & match like Fiesta, but not so DATED. This is a beautiful, durable, well-sized set that I love, and will not grow tired of."
