"My sister in-law actually purchased one for my wife (I gave up drinking coffee) and I have been using it to make hot chocolate. My wife uses it on a daily basis and loves the machine. The design is actually better than their premier model. I ended up buying two for my brother's christmas presents. They too, love their coffee maker.
The only thing I would recommend to Keurig is to make the lid a non-detachable, swing open lid and to incorporate the coffee tray into the base of the coffee maker."

"I loved my coffee maker so much, I bought one for my brother and one for a friend. Pods are expensive and not ecologically sound, so I recommend getting the reusable filter."

"I was excited to get my KEURIG Platinum , because I could make a quick cup of coffee in the morning and before going to my second job-Macy's! I bought the my K-Cup filter to use with my espresso coffee, Bustelo. It makes for a stronger cup of coffee than the my K-Cups, & only buy the dark K-Cups coffee because the light brands are watered down. This KEURIG started sounding awful after 4 months, with cup not filling to desired size. Well I descaled more than once & after a few cups I would get an error message, Prime. I still have this KEURIG but have to unplug and plug back in for it to work. I bought the Cuisinart KEURIG brewer for my office, which has not had the problems this one has, so I would recommend that one over this KEURIG for office or home. It comes with a my K-cup as well. I will consider purchasing the New Vue and hope it will be an improvement over this Platinum KEURIG."

"Was shopping with kids to for a coffee maker, son in law said Dad wanted one of these for single cups. I said NO..he wouldn't want this..he continued to say they were out shopping and Dad said to him i would like one of these...Their father and I were not to exchange gifts but I thought ummm if I went in half he would be okay with it..Low and behold last present to open and he was in awe..He said I have been looking for these and did a search and this was the highest rated product to get. He was so happy and couldn't wait to set it up..The next day he was out buying me apple cider kcups..He thanked me so much ..the gift of giving..Next to that the Macy's employee was the one to really sale this to me.she said she had one and loved it. Thanks to her I bought it"

"I received this as a birthday gift and well, I absolutely love it! It is great as a busy mom to have the chance to make coffee with the keurig since it is simple to use, and quick. I also like that I am able to buy variety packs so that when friends and family visit they can get what they like too. It has also held up well since it is used daily."

"I received the brewer today and immediately subjected it to a thorough road test.
After it filled the reservoir tank with water, I timed how long it actually prepares the water for brewing; it was pretty precise. Our household has a lot of mugs that ranges from average to really big. Since the largest option was a 9-10oz mug, you'll have to tinker a bit if your mug is larger than this. We only use K-Cups occasionally because my husband wants a different brand and I'm a tea drinker so it's not an issue for us if we choose two cup measurement to fill up a larger size mug.
I've never encountered any problems with my K-40 and I'm pretty sure I can say the same with this new addition to our kitchen. As long as you routinely de-scale, check the needle, and clean the reservoir, this will last you a long time."

Problems, Problem, Problems

"We purchased the Keurig Special Edition about a year and a half ago. We started having problems with it about 7 months in. Not getting any coffee, having to plug and unplug, cut off and cut on before we would get a cup. Then not getting a full cup which was the last straw. I am presently looking for a better product for a single serve coffee maker. I really think that Keurig should make the necessary adjustments for their product and really endeavor to put out a better product for the cost. But as long as we continue to purchase these products, I am not so sure that will happen. I am disappointed because at the beginning I told friends about this great coffee maker which they in turn purchased and then we started having problems. We called Keurig and they try to walk us through the problem which only worked for a short time, and yes we descaled. But why not just make a more sound, reliable, and better product."

"Just as a lot of people are saying, after a while, the brewer starts brewing half a cup, then one day, for no reason at all, the brewer would not turn on. We have one at work and that one also brews inconsistently. The one I had at home was 2 years old, but it was only used on weekends. I decided not to buy a new one because I don't feel like buying a new brewer every year or two. When it works, it's a great product."

"IF YOUR COFFEE MAKER SUDDENLY STOPS PUTTING OUT ENOUGH WATER TO FILL THE CUP, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS....THESE COFFEE MAKERS MUST BE PRIMED. !!! THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE COFFEE MAKER.
The maker CAN suddenly stop out- putting the appropriate amount of water for many reasons...most common, grounds that get stuck in the needle or water pump. Simple, easy to understand, instructions are included.
We love our Keurig! The beverage choices are endless, satisfying the pickiest consumer. We no longer toss out potfuls of leftover or burnt coffee."

"I am reading all of the wonderful reviews and yes, that is exactly how I felt about my Keurig - Best coffee ever - ease of use - and all and all, just wonderful....and then...my favorite coffee pot ever, would only pour 4 oz of water and then only 2 oz, could never have a regular full cup of coffee again - the Keurig was just under a year old.. After calling the company directly and going through a few steps with them on the phone, they said something like, "oh yeah, we know the problem, it is a digital issue" I sent the k-cup part as requested to the company (this disables the maker) and they sent a brand new Keurig the next day...I was impressed with their policy and began enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee each morning and then.....10 months later, one morning- no coffee. Machine was just dead...the trouble shooter says to check the outlet...duh...the coffee pot is dead. And, just to add to my regret that this great premise is less than perfected - my mother's 15 mo. old top of the line, Premier Keurig stopped working as well. VERY FRUSTRATING! Why can't they perfect this coffee maker by now - I read one review that gave raving reveiws after owning her Keurig for 3 years - if only.
I have not even bothered to call this time - I give up."

"I brought this special edition/signature B60 KEURIG Brewer a week ago. This was the best present that I have brought for myself. This Keurig has 3 selections of cup sizes 5.25oz
