"Not only is this china beautiful, but it is also durable and versatile. This pattern is dishwasher safe and mixes well with other platinum rimmed patterns.
My best friend has another brand of china (with a very different pattern but also having a platinum band), and we borrow one another's to mix and match when throwing large dinner parties. The fact that mine is dishwasher safe makes such a difference when it's time to clean up!!!"

"I have loved this china for it's simplicity, but it also adds a fun attitude to any dining experience. In response to the pattern "flaws" pointed out by a previous review, they add to the impression that this china is hand detailed, not mass manufactured. Among my 10 place settings and full set of serving dishes, I have not noticed any major "flaws" whatsoever. There is slight differences in the dot sizes, spacing, etc. but you really have to look for those details to notice anything. And as I previously stated, I think it only adds a sense of uniqueness. All of Kate's china is lovely, but this one is particulary gorgeous to me!"

Poor quality control!,August 31, 2008

"When I was picking out my wedding china I absolutely feel in love with this pattern and was so excited about it! But I have found the quality control for this pattern to be absolutely horrid. Common flaws I found included scratches, smears, and missing paint in the pattern. Also, the pattern circling the coffee cups and along the boarder of the plates was often wavy, in misalignment, or had gaps. I've ended up having to return/exchange every place-setting and accessory piece I received, and usually 3 or more times before getting pieces with minimal flaws. I finally gave up on this pattern, because the hassle was just way too overwhelming and I switched to another pattern by another brand.
If slight flaws, like those I've described, bother you at all, save yourself the trouble and chose a different pattern. If you do chose this pattern, make sure to open the box immediately and check each piece carefully to make sure it works for you!"

"I absolutely love my china. The design is classic, yet with a modern feel. It is absolutely beautiful and holds up well. The only drawback is the number of pieces available with this design. It does have a coffee set, but I would have loved to be able to purchase matching salt/pepper shakers, gravy boat and butter dish to go along with the set. Otherwise, I think this is one of the prettiest set out there and in person it is absolutely beautiful."
