"This would have been a five-star product if the designers kept the timer feature from the original grill. Instead, you have heat settings (low/med/high). I don't see why we couldn't have both! The removable plates are a fantastic change from the original and have made it through at least two runs through the dishwasher since purchasing this product three weeks ago. The only other thing that would have made this better--and more worth the price--is if the cooking surface was a little larger. I felt that I bought the same grill I already had, just with removable plates."

"I bought this grill from two different retailers and both times some of the grill plates would not snap into place. So I gave up on purchasing this model. RECOMMEND YOU INSIST THE CLERK OPEN PACKAGE AND CHECK ALL TO MAKE SURE THEY SNAP IN PLACE SECURELY."

"The GF Grill is versatile and delivers on the features advertised and more. The ability to remove the grilling plates for cleaning and washing makes all the difference in the easy of use. The interchangeable features give a chance to try new and different ideas. I would like the cookbook and the cleaning sponge to be part of the package, rather than separate items. "I love the versatility of this G5 and the ease of clean up. I'm a stickler for appliances and cooking tools going in the dishwasher for cleaning and this product is IT. "A few years ago when my son went to college, I bought one of the smaller, older versions of this grill & he liked it so well when I saw all this grill could do I couldn't help myself! (& my son's inlaws liked the fact they got his old one! lol) I purchased this grill for my son & dil & for Christmas & happy to report they love it! It's much easier to clean & the ability to change the trays from a grill for steaks, to a griddle for grilled cheese & to a waffle iron is wonderful for their busy lifestyle! The space-saving counter space is yet another bonus! I will be buying one for myself & pitching my older one once it's on sale again!"

"Definitely this is an excellent grill! I love the interchangeable plates. It has just the perfect ones! I've enjoyed making waffles, grilled chicken, pannini, etc. on this grill. I especially like how it has such a flexible hinge so you can grill thick meat (or other thick things) with the top down flat on it. This makes for much more even cooking. One big plus is that instead of having a grill, a pannini maker, and a waffle iron, you can have just one appliance taking up space in your cabinet. It also has quite a large cooking surface, so cooking for multiple people does not take long! It is an absolutely wonderful, very versatile grill--well-worth the money!"

"I have been using this grill for about six months now. On the plus side two of my primary complaints about the original model have been addressed, the plates come out for cleaning and there is a switch to make the grill horizontal. All of the plate sets work well and it is very hard to make anything stick unless it's just you just leave it to burn on. I've cooked everything from meat to biscuit crust pizza to waffles to grilled cheese and veggies. There are a couple of negatives. I went to wipe off the top while the grill was in use and the logo smeared badly. Also the hinge between top and bottom plates tends to collect grease and bits of food and is more difficult to clean. A couple of tips: The plates are listed as dishwasher safe and they do ok in the dishwasher but come out a dull color. I don't know how it would hold up over time but I prefer to hand wash mine. The cleaning sponge fell appart the first week and now I use a nylon bristled brush from the grocery store dollar section. It works well and I haven't noticed any damage. I would definately recommend this grill."

"I just purchased the Next Grilleration George Foreman Grill last week and have not stop using it yet. IT'S FABULOUS!! For those who have just about every appliance for cooking (like me), GET RID OF THEM!!, you will not need it with this grill. I grilled perfect steaks (like butter) and made the best omelettes I have ever tasted and it cut the cooking time in half. The clean-up was fast and easy and it looks great in my kitchen. I truly recommend this product to EVERYONE, especially if you don't want to spend half the night in the kitchen just cooking and cleaning...GET THIS GRILL!!!"
