"We have the greatest grapefruit, oranges and lemons in South Texas, and I've purchased many juicers - both manual and electric over the years. This Breville is the best juicer I've ever used. It's heavy duty enough to handle larger fruit like grapefruit, has two pulp strainers to choose from, and is easy to take apart to clean. Time will tell whether the top, detachable press with the o-ring they recommend replacing periodically will hold up, but the performance so far has been fantastic. Too bad we're coming to the end of the grapefruit and orange crop this year in Texas as I recently juiced an entire bag of about 20 grapefruit and it only took about 15 minutes - and my arms were not tired in the least !"

"This is one of the best products I have ever purchased. I juiced an entire bag of limes in 5 minutes, without bruising my palms from applying pressure. "I love this juicer because it is easy to use and juices a lot better than any juicer that I have ever used. This juicer completely balds the inside of the orange. I was really happy that this juicer takes minimal effort. I had previously purchased the Cuisinart citrus juicer and I felt like I was working too hard to get the juice, so I returned it to Macys and purchased the Breville instead. I know there is a substantial price difference between a regular juicer and this premium citrus juicer, but I can see the value in it. This juicer is great for me because I juice for a family of three and I use it a few times a week. I highly recommend the Breville juicer, because it is simply the best!!"

"I got my Breville juicer three days ago and have been loving it. It's one of the best investments I've ever made on household appliances. It's super easy to use and clean, and the best part is of course the fresh gourmet juice that you get out of this graceful machine. Now I know how orange juice should really taste like!

"Excellent! We have many citrus trees and our old juicer was messy leaving juice all over the counter. This juicer doesn't, all of it is captured. We really love that the pour spout can snap up to keep any juice in the juicer till the cup is replaced under the spout. The size of this unit is small enough to keep on the counter. And the stainless steel is attractive and the unit is sturdy and heavy. It is easily washed by hand or dishwasher making it a daily delight! Today, one of us juices while the other starts the eggs. Before the Breville, we juiced ahead of time, then fixed breakfast, time allowing."

Morning Squeeze/Bar Juicer/Design Statement/Quiet!

"I'm a veteran of a well-used 25-year-old Mighty OJ manual unit—the body of which finally snapped one morning.

Enter the Breville 800CPXL Citrus Press! I knew I wanted one the moment I saw it. The reviews I read confirmed it as the best choice.

What else could one ask for?

-Heavy cast metal components;
-Attractive brushed stainless steel design;
-Quiet, and I mean quiet! Even with a 110W motor, I never fear waking anyone up when using it early in the morning;
-Choice of two pulp strainers;
-No squirting as you juice!;
-And true enough, the cone really is large enough to handle a small grapefruit, the kind supermarkets sell at 5 for $1 during the peak season.

It even comes with a sturdy clear plastic cover for the cone and strainer unit to keep it fully dust-free between uses (not that it rests long between uses in the WestyPDX household!) Wash-up is a snap as well.

After centering half of the cut fruit onto the cone, it only takes quick light pressure to start the juicing process. Within 5-10 seconds the Breville has literally sucked all of the juice out from your favorite citrus. It leaves behind a fine layer of pulp in the strainer that you can easily spoon into your glass if you prefer a more pulpy texture, which I do.

The Breville really does combine the best of both worlds. It's in the style of a classic citrus press, but only requires the slightest amount of pressure to get the job done. There's virtually nothing left in the citrus half except the pith and peel after a trip over the nice, wide juicing cone.

I can hardly wait to use it this weekend for a party I'm giving. Imagine how special my guests will feel being served Screwdrivers mixed from OJ made so easily right before their very eyes! Everyone will want at least one.

It'll also be a treat all next winter when seeded tangerines come to markets dirt cheap by the bag. You've not lived until you've awoken to fresh and sweet tangerine juice—the only problem being it takes a good 1/2 dozen of them to make a decent-sized glassful. The Breville should be a triumph at this task as well as on lemons for fresh lemonade all summer long. I may even be brazen enough to try it on a small pomegranate. ;)

Don't even think about any other juicer on the market. This one's worth every penny."
