"I am the only coffee drinking in my home and I hate making only 2 cups every morning on my 10 cup coffee maker. This Tassimo is great for me. I can make what I want quickly. No cleaning up, no pot to wash. Just toss the pod, put the mug in the washer and go. Great for anyone on the go or your up for something different. No need for an expresso machine, this does it too."

"I confess--I'm a coffee addict...and I was spending too much money at Starbucks. I've been looking at single serve, espresso,etc. machines for awhile. I've had Bunn machines for a few years and various others, but I love cappucino and I wanted something that could do that like the authentic stuff we had in Italy. I was skeptical, but after tasting the Gevalia cappucino that I ordered with the machine, I was hooked. My recipe: Process the espresso disk twice, 2 packets of Splenda, then the milk disk. Lo-cal, low-fat, and will kick my sweet cravings! I recently bought the decaf version so I could have some after dinner. I'm on WW, so I am watching my food intake. This machine really helps. I have also ordered the Maxwell House T-disks and they are really good and lower in price. You can also get some good deals on Amazon. Buy one!"

"This is a great product to have if your the only person in your house to drink coffee. It makes any drink in two minutes. It is a little noisy but it never woke up my fiance. So it's really just a little noisy. Other than that it's great."

"I found this model to be an excellant value for the money based on the machines out there on the market. You can spend a lot more and not get as good of a machine. While this machine doesn't have the most features, it is a great machine for basic everyday hot beverages. The cost of the T cups is very reasonable and are readily available at many locations and on line."

my love hate relationship,October 10, 2007

"I have a total love hate releationship with this machine. It isn't as loud to me as others have said but it also doesn't humm quietly either. It does take some getting used to and the convienence goes with out saying. What I don't like about it is the fact that I love really strong coffee. I usually drink Pete's coffee but I find that I have to go through 2 discs just to get the coffee strength just right. Then I realized how much it costs to do that and thought that it would be better if I just made a pot of coffee instead. I like the option of making a latte, tea, and if it weren't for the rave reviews that my kids gave in regards of the hot chocolate I probably would have returned it, but I got it at a good price w/rebate. With that said it is worth it if you like variety. It is highly inconvienent if you like a specific brand of coffee and if Tassimo doesn't make discs for it. Cup for cup you pay for the convienence as the discs are around $8 for a pack of 16. I can make many a pots of coffee with well in excess of 16 cups with a bag of $20 coffee. My hope is that they are able to come up with more brands of coffee discs and that they can lower the price of the discs. I also cannot help but feel guilty as to the amount of waste made by the discs, . . more little plastic packages to add to all of the other things we do in life, . . . not exactly environmentally green."

"I love this product. A friend had one and I just had to get one. Easy clean up, great coffee, FAST. It's nice. In the morning, can have a cup of coffee or an espresso or a cup of tea. Don't have to decide until I'm right in front of the machine. My husband can use it to make his chai latte or my sister can have a hot chocolate. I haven't had to buy a latte in weeks. LOVE IT."

"Daily I would stop for coffee in the morning and run out again in the afternoon. Now I have a Tassimo in my office. The perfect solution. I prefer the 8oz. cup as I now usually get to finish a cup before it gets cold. Everyone that stops by is crazy about it. I purchae my pods at target (16 for 3.99), so about 25 cents a cup vs 3-4 dollars. Investment in machine is paid back in about a month. For great coffee. Wish more coffee makers would produce T-pods."

"This makes a great coffee, latte, or other beverage... (except coco). It also looks great and the customer support is terrific. However this machine has a few quirks! The lid on the water container of the first machine I got kept falling into the water. Since replaced it has been fine.
The quirks on this machine are annoying. At any time the machine will go into manual mode. This means the water heats and you have to stand there pushing the button until you get your beverage. The machine also has a “drip problem”. Where this water comes from is unknown but the ‘cup holder’ fills quickly and must be emptied. Additionally, the machine has to be constantly wiped or cleaned so it will work correctly.
If you are an avid coffee, tea, or beverage drinker you will want to consider two things. They have recently released a 12 ounce cup of coffee but the others are 8 ounces. If you like a “double” espresso you will need to be prepared to put in two or three discs and at least one creamer. This means you will stand there…hoping it does not go to ‘manual’ mode while it heats and brews three or four times.
Finally, the costs of the discs might be a consideration. Many of these deficiencies can be corrected with customer alternatives for beverages… and the company is addressing some like the 12 oz. cup; they also need to address double espressos!
All in all it is a great little machine if you know how to work it and are not an all-day coffee drinker. And, be sure to tell your guests how to work the machine or you could be there several times a day!"

"I have had this coffee maker for just over a year and I love it! I love all the fancy coffee's that they have at starbuck's but hate paying $5 for one... This machine makes the best drinks for a fraction of the price. Tassimo also has a home delivery system which is great for busy people! Also, this is one of the few machines that allows you to add additional liquid, enabling you to fill the cup! Some of the machines have pretty small servings."

"I've been using the Tassimo for about 2 weeks now. I have to admit, I LOVE the convenience of it! The Gevalia coffee is very good, as is the Green Tea, & my kids love the hot chocolate. My average size mug only gets about 3/4 full....I need another sip or two more! And I'm having a little trouble with the guilt of creating so much waste with the T-discs. It seems that there's a lot of plastic getting thrown away, just to make my life a little easier, being the only coffee drinker in the house. Still on the fence, having recently tossed my old traditional coffee maker...but it IS nice to have a hot cup of coffee in my hands about 1 minute after turning it on after my morning run."

"I absolutely love this machine! I have it on my desk in my school apartment. It's definitely saved the day several times when I've been running late for class. It makes everything so quickly and is always nice and hot. I also love being able to store the discs so easily and neatly, unlike bags of coffee. Like others have said, it's also great to be able to switch from tea to coffee without adjusting anything on it or cleaning it out. The only thing I didn't like at first was the noise it makes when it brews, but it didn't take long to get used to it and it only lasts a few seconds. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who enjoys a delicious hot beverage made at the touch of a button."
